The Adirondacks is Beautiful country.
I live at the base of the Adirondacks mountains it is a beautiful area.; Be sure to check out Saratoga also.
A trip to The Saratoga battlefield is a great way to teach the kids about our countries history.
The battlefield is a registered historic landmark.; Decades ago I used to travel the field daily as a shortcut for work, On Friday nights I would hang out for a few there is a Farmhouse (bemis heights) where a major battle took place. It was nice back then you could travel for free in the park and the police were cool.; Great place to visit just make sure you pay your respects at night.

- Hi steveffeo, Thanks for mentioning my lens in your favorites. I grew up just inside the Adirondack Park, east of Plattsburgh. Aahhh the biting flies in the summer and the biting cold in the winter, truly fond memories. I sincerely hope to get to spend more time there in the future.
