Adobong Pusit

Adobong (adobo) is claimed as the most popular dish of Philippines. The word adobo (Spanish) means marinade or seasoning. In Filipino, adobong means stewing process of meat or seafood even vegetable in vinegar, soy sauce and bay leaves. There are variants of adobong such as adobong baboy (pork), adobong manok (chicken), adobong pusit (squid), etc.

Adobong pusit is very easy to fix. This dish can be done under 30 minutes. If you are squid lover, then this dish is something new to try. Whilst other adobong dishes usually have brown sauces due to using of soy sauce, adobong pusit has purple sauce because of the squid's ink. Here is simple adobong pusing (squid adobo) recipe.
