My Adsense 100K Blueprint Review

I own the Adsense 100K Blueprint program and I wanted to write a review about my thoughts on the training. I have had the blueprint since late 2010 when it first came out. I want to talk about the training, and also give a background of earning money with Adsense.

One of my goals (I have many :p) is to have my own business; its not that I don't like my job or anything, but being responsible, having creating freedom, and hopefully financial freedom are some of the reasons I have wanted to be an entrepreneur.

Let's get started, first a brief intro to Adsense...

What is Adsense?

Google makes most of its money today by advertising. It does that by:

  • Placing advertising on it's search portal and other web properties (google.com, youtube.com, etc...) <- this is Adwords

  • Placing advertising on your web properties <- this is Adsense

Now how in the world does Google place ads on your website? Or how do you get Google ads on your website? Through Adsense!

Adsense is a program in which Google is a middleman; you are the seller and some unknown advertiser is the buyer. Google is the broker, selling ad space on your website with your permission. Google Adsense is a VERY large marketplace with millions of buyers (advertisers) and sellers (website owners); Google smartly takes a cut of each transaction.

What is CPC Advertising?

There are so many ways to advertise and sell advertising. For example, if you buy a billboard or television ad, you pay a fixed price no matter how many people see your advertisement, or buy your product. If you are an affiliate, then no matter how much you advertise, you only get paid when someone purchases the product.

With online advertising, you can more easily track what potential buyers are doing, and there are 3 main models of advertising online.
CPM - you pay based on how many people see the ad
CPA - you pay based on how many people buy the product
CPC - you pay based on how many people click the ad

You can see that CPC is sort of in the middle of CPM and CPA. It's a good compromise for buyers and sellers, and this is what Adsense uses (obviously CPC works well for Google)

How Do Adsense Content Ads Get Priced?

A good place to hear how much you earn per click for the content network is from Google itself. Adsense is an auction system, and Google is trying to maximize it's profit. That means not only does Google want advertisers to pay as much as possible for an advertisement, they also want the advertisement to be clicked on more frequently.

Adsense 100K Blueprint Review

Can you really make money with Adsense?

I've bought a lot of IM products; more than I care to admit and I don't know why I bought the 100K Adsense Blueprint. Actually, I already had some Adsense websites, because it is supposed to be one of the easiest ways to earn money online.

In any case, I did buy it (I figured with the 60 day money back guarantee, I could return it as I have no qualms returning digital products that don't live up to their claims)

The Adsense 100K Blueprint contains Adsense 100K contains an "8 Step Process" outline

  1. Niche Research

  2. Niche Brainstorming

  3. Niche Research Idea Generators

  4. Keyword Research" including competition research

  5. Content

  6. Traffic

  7. Action Plan

  8. Resources

The PDF is extremely well laid out, and I remember when I first went through the training, I was struck at how logical, comprehensive, and real the training was. You know that what Michael Ullman and Adam Franklin are writing is something they actually use and make money with.

The first section of the course emphasizes picking the right type of keywords in a well thought out way; the focus is not on physical products, but rather the information seeker. This is different in focus than what other Adsense courses I have seen focus on; however Michael and Adam lay out the case well, and ask you to think like the searcher and understand what type of information they would be looking for.

There is also some emphasis on competition research and finally domain name choosing.

I didn't spend a lot of time on WP installation though the guys do provide instruction. The next cool part of the course is in regards to content creation, content structuring, on-site SEO, and internal linking. I thought this was the most valuable part of the training.

The last part of the course deals with SEO and traffic. The SEO knowledge is solid and pretty comprehensive; I knew quite a bit of SEO before purchasing the course and I agree with what was taught, and also didn't find anything lacking.

As you can tell, I was really glad I purchased the course. Actually that would be an understatement; to be frank, this is the best IM course I have purchased to date, and am extremely glad I got it. I highly recommend it.

Note - I also got membership in the forum. There is a monthly fee for the forum and I actually spent quite a bit of time in it. Adam and Michael also spend time answering questions in the forum and there is a lot of peer support.

Final Word About Adsense 100K Blueprint

Adsense 100K Blueprint Review

I recommend this course if you are looking for a comprehensive course which will cover keyword research, competition research, site construction, and SEO. If you already have a good course, it's a better use of your money to save it, and just focus on the training you have.

I will say that Michael and Adam truly care; I have had several email or PM exchanges with them. They are busy guys but take care of their customers and don't send a lot of emails to their list.

Is Adsense Dead?

What About Panda and Content Farms?

People have been writing off Adsense for several years, and making money with Adsense is not as easy as when the program first started. The real concern is about traffic; Adsense websites are based off of getting traffic from SEO, and Google is also going against Adsense farms.

The Adsense 100K blueprint addresses these concerns, and actually the guys released a version 2 of the program in Oct 2011, and I expect they will continue with updates for life because I have seen how they care about their customers.

But to address some issues, it's not that SEO is impossible, it has just changed. For example, things like author ownership and Google+ along with a social profile and presence are more important than they were a few years ago. Reputation and trust are more important.

I don't think that spam will survive long term and that's not what Adsense 100K advocates. The question is: how can you make a valuable online resource, get traffic to it, and monetize that traffic? That's what you should hope to learn from Adsense 100K.
