Adsense Color

Using the plain, default colors of Google Adsense ads are not a great idea if you want to earn a lot of money with your website.

The problem with the default colors is that everyone has come to know them and so they really stand out as Google ads.

When people know that it is an ad it could make them hesitant to click on it. Sure it is easy just to grab the code and place it on your site, without having to work out your website color hex numbers, but take my word for it, you will earn less income with the default colors

By using the same colors for your ads as for your sites, your ads will blend nicely with your site.

Not only does this look a lot nicer but it also camouflages the ads a little so they don't stand out as much as being ads.

By having the border and background the same as the background page color the ads just fit in nicely and many people will not even know they are ads. You wil be surprised at how many more clicks you will get by doing this.

Well actually this doesn't only relate to adsense ads but to any advertising on your site.

I have seen many sites that are just blatant advertising sites and will be filled with many kinds of ads including Adsense ads. The first thing that I do when I see a site like this is press the back link on my browser.

Visitors are not coming to your website to see ads, they are coming to your site because they are looking for something. Your site needs to provide a little of that something that they are looking for.

Give them some good quality information and they may keep on coming back and each time they do they may click on your Adsense ads.

So it is essential to have good content on your site and not just a blatant advertising site. You will earn much more income with your ads if you have good content.

A website is worth nothing if it isn't receiving any traffic. It doesn't matter if you have the best optimized ads or the best setup site in the world, if its not getting traffic then its not making you money.

So not only do you need to set up your colors right, you also need to take the right steps in driving traffic to your site.

Adsense Websites will only earn an income if they are optimized for the ads and for traffic.
