Understanding your AdSense statistics is sometimes hard.
Well, sometimes like banging your head against a wall.
UNLESS you know what they all mean.
Understanding your AdSense report statistics is easy. Just read on!
When you log into your Google Adsense account, you are automatically taken to the page where you can view all your Adsense activity. On the Reports tab, you'll see "Today's Earnings."This is the approximate amount you have earned today in your Google Adsense account. Earnings are not final at this point and could be adjusted for invalid clicks or fees.
It's interesting to look at the breakdown!

Page Impressions
As you can see, Adsense for Content, which refers to the targeted ads appearing on the pages in which you have written content, is listed first. Here you will see the number of page impressions listed in the first column. While a page impression is generally the same as a page view, that is not always the case.
For a more detailed definition of a page impression, see Google Adsense support, click on Your Adsense Account and then click on Your Adsense Report.

(How I seriously boosted my AdSense earnings one day)
I got myself one of these things:
I found a thing called 'Dave's Cool Little Website'.And it is very cool.
Basically, they will set up a website for me (and host it themselves) and I will earn money from loads of different places!
This is why they call it 'cool'.
My adsense ads are all over the site. So I earn money that way. And my clickbank links are there as well, so that pays REALLY well. And also the eBay referrals really add up.
To see the video I saw, check out the info page.

But here is how I earn money from this one site:
Google Adsense - My Cool Little Website is full of Google Adsense links. This little site has REALLY boosted my AdSense income.
Clickbank Affiliate Programs - My Clickbank ID is embedded into a clickbank directory, so people can find whatever product they want and I get something like $20 - $50!

eBay Auctions - My Cool Little Website lists live eBay auctions from all categories and the links have my affiliate ID in automatically, so eBay pay me a percentage of whatever sales they make. How cool is that?!
Also, check out the eBay misspelling tool. It's amazing!
All in all, I'm absolutely chuffed to bits with my cool little website, and it has really boosted my adsense earnings. You should give it a go.

- I thought Joel Comm's book was on the basic side, but then again I was already making a nice living from Adsense when I picked it up. There weren't any books when I got started, heh.
Anyway, keep writing. :)
