Adsense Marketing Tips! Learn How To Make Money With Adsense

To begin with if you don't already have an account with Google you will need to get one before you can get an Adsense account. You can sign up for an account with Google by going HERE! In the upper right hand corner you will see a box that says "Create Account Now". You'll need to complete the form with your e-mail, account name, password and location and then agree to the terms of service. Setting up your Google account is free.

Once you've set up an account with Google you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Google. Follow the instructions in the e-mail to confirm your account. After you have confirmed your account with Google you can sign-in and go to "My Services". In "my services" click on Adsense. On The Adsense page click on the "Sign Up Now" button on the upper right hand side of the page, complete the information again and again agree to the terms of service. Again Adsense is free to join and free to use.

WARNING! You will need to have a website in order to register a Google Adsense Account. If you do not already have a website, you can get an account at Hubpages and use your Hubpages account information to apply for your Google Adsense account. FYI-you do not need to create a page at hub pages before you apply for Google Adsense. All you need to do is create a Hubpages account and then create a Hubpages URL to use for setting up your Google Adsense account. The Hubpages URL is all you need. You don't have to create an entire Hubpages page to get started with Google Adsense. Google has an agreement with HubPages whereby Hubpage users can earn Google Adsense revenue from the pages created on their site and all Google needs to set up your Adsense account is your HubPages account information. Just make sure that when you set up your HubPages account you use the same e-mail address that you used to create your original Google account. If you already have a website that you want to add Adsense to then you don't need to bother with setting up an account at Hubpages.

You'll receive another confirmation e-mail from Google. Again follow the instructions in the e-mail. You will be asked for your website URL. Again if you created a Hubpages URL then just use that URL for your Google Adsense account. Google will tell you that they will get back with you in a day or two after they've had a chance to check out your site to make sure it meets their terms of service. Don't worry if you didn't create a full Hubpages page%u2026they'll still most likely approve your account although it may take them a few days longer. Google will notify you by e-mail once your account has been approved.

Once you've set up your Google Adsense account and been approved they will assign you a Publisher ID. You will use this same Publisher ID for every website that you want to ad Adsense to. You do not create new accounts for each website. This ID is to be used anyplace you want to ad Adsense to.

So go and get your Google Adsense accounts set up now (if you don't already have one) because it will take a few days for your account to be approved and you're ready to start earning revenue with Adsense. The Golden Triangle For Adsense

Once you have your website or your website templates, you'll need to ad the adsense coding to your HTML in your templates so that Google can place the ads on your website.

Log in to your adsense account, go to the adsense setup tab, click, you will see adsense for content, click it, you can add a search box or referrals a little later, right now let's get some content ad's going, you should see ad unit and link unit, pick the type you would like on your site, then move to ad format and color, pick the format and color you wish to use, you also can select square or round corners, in more options you can leave show public service ads checked, don't worry about channels yet, if you are in wizard mode click continue when you are done, if you are using single page you should see your adsense code box, this contains the code you need to copy and paste in your website html code with your html editor, where you place the ad's is up to you, try position changes to see what works best for your layout, you should see public service ad's start to show, this is normal until google scans your site for content, after the scan you will start to the content ad's, this might take a little time, maybe a day, so relax and wait for the ads to show, remember do not! click your ads to see if they are working and do not have your friends start clicking your ads.

Now lets go over the placement or position of the ads, where you put your ads on your page is very important, it can the difference between a click and no click, but remember most web sites are different so what works well with some might not work well with yours, so over time try new ad formats, colors, and positions to see what works best with your page.

The most important thing you need to drive traffic to your website is relevant keywords and great content. In addition, the more pages you have on your Adsense Websites the more visitors you'll receive and the longer they'll stay on your site.

You want your visitors to click on your Adsense ads, so you need to provide lots of valuable content to make sure that when they land on your site they find what they're looking for. 1) Write articles and submit them to article directories. This is one of the easiest free methods of traffic you can get. To get a start on article submissions, you can take the articles you've written for your website content and submit all of those to the article directories. 2) Blog About Your Website. Blogging is a great way to let people know about your Adsense Website. If you already have a blog set up you can use that blog, however I suggest that you attach a Wordpress blog to your website. By attaching the blog to your website you will be adding fresh new content to your website every time you make a new blog post, and search engines love new content. Here are some Adsense Templates that have matching Wordpress blogs. These make the whole process of setting up your website with the matching blog extremely easy. There are even some video tutorials that show you how to do this.

3)Social networking is another great free source of traffic. Set up social networking sites and make posts to places like Digg, Twitter, etc. Bookmark your website with Diigo, Stumbleupon, etc. Set up Facebook and My Space accounts and join groups that are similar to your website topic. Many webmasters and even gurus know that placing Adsense on certain sites can generate a sizeable source of additional revenue. But what they know best is how to optimize those sites to get visitors by their use of tags.

Tags include your title tags, your content tags, your keyword tags and your description tags. Where these tags are placed and how you label them can mean the difference between a dead site or a happy site. If you don't optimize your site properly to bring in visitors then your Adsense ads will never get clicks

To get more click happy traffic to your Adsense ads you'll need to make sure and optimize all of your tags for the search engines. Proper tags can increase your traffic and your click throughs by as much as 25-30% so I encourage you to take the time to make sure and properly optimize all of your tags.

Your Title Tags

Your title tag simply tells the search engines what your page is about. Whenever you go to a site you'll notice the title of the page on the tabs where the page opens. For example: if you type in http://chase.com when the page loads your will see "Chase Personal Banking Investments" in the title tab at the top of the page. "Chase Personal Banking Investments" is the title tag that has been inserted into the HTML code on the page.

With your Adsense websites you need to be inserting title tags that are relevant to your page so that the search engines can assign relevance to your websites. Write a title tag that both the search engines and your visitors will love and you will get clicks on your Adsense ads.

You'd be surprised at how many people don't bother to include a title tag at all and when their pages load their visitors (and the search engines) will see an ugly and unsightly "untitled document" as the page title.

YUCK! This is a huge mistake and it makes you and your website look unprofessional and careless. Your title tag is prime real estate for your Adsense websites and you should use it heavily.

Your title tag is easy to find and easy to change in the HTML source of your website. On most pages it is found right below the "head" tag so it would look like this:

title (title inside of < >)YOUR PAGE TITLE USING YOUR KEYWORDS /title (/title inside of < >)

Where it says "YOUR PAGE TITLE USING YOUR KEYWORDS" you'll want to do just that-type in your own page title that you want to show in the title bar.

Hint: keep your title tag under 70 characters and put your main keywords near the beginning of your title.

Your Meta Tags

Your Meta Tags are extremely important to the search engines, however since I have limited HTML capabilities on Squidoo I'm unable to spell it all out here. Read more about meta tags on our blog by click on "Your Meta Tags" above. We also have a lot more Do's and Don'ts of Adsense there. Just click on "Adsense" in the Categories section on the right when you're at the site. There's a lot more information there than I can put on one Squidoo lense.

You already know that you're not going to make your millions from one Adsense website, and the way to truly build a substantial income with Adsense is to build multiple niche Adsense websites.
