Great Lens FAV5* And Winner of the Costume & Halloween Lens Award!
I find it difficult to think of adult costumes, seems every time I see something it is toddler or small child adorable. This lens helped me to think of a costume to wear to our community fall fest. Thanks,
:D

We LOVE costumes at my house, and my kids (26 and 30) love the photos and memories we made together over the years. My personal best ever was when I made my daughter into MEDUSA with a headpiece of wire and plastic snakes. She wore that costume for 5 years and cried when the headpiece finally broke and we couldn't repair it. Her toga dress is still in the costume box. (yeah, I still have a costume box.)
What I'm really good at is getting things from thrift shops and cobbling them together to make something new. It's lots of fun, because a costume for Halloween doesn't have to last beyond a week and 3 to 5 wearings, so traditional sewing techniques aren't needed.
Last year my 6'6" son and my 5'6" daughter went as beauty queens "before and after the sex change" -- they looked like twins except for the size and weight factor. It was hilarious because, of course, you don't get shorter with that operation. They thought it up, and executed it without my help -- that was a first.

We don't dress up! The closest I get to dress ups, is to dress like a grown up when I go out... (just joking...) This looks like a lot of fun.

neat idea for a lens. I always remember the old "egg head" costume made with a pillow case large head, shirt around waist and pants attached. Stuff the arms of the shirt and add gloves, etc. funny. 5*
