Let's face it Halloween is mostly for children! The trick-or-treating, pumpkin patches and haunted hayrides are right up their alley. One great way to show off all these costumes is to host a themed Halloween costume party. Themed parties are the wave of the future and for an adult Halloween party you can make it as crazy, old school, elegant or raunchy as you want it to be!

When decorating and deciding on food always play up to the theme. Make your guests feel as if they're on a tropical island with a Hawaiian Luau theme or that they've stepped back to a medieval time with a Renaissance theme.

Movies are always a popular theme when it comes to adult costume parties. Out dated or just released movies, it doesn't matter. Believe me your friends will come up with costumes that will surprise even you!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Have the guests come dressed as their favorite character such as, Dr Frank-N-Furter, Janet, Brad or Riff Raff. Decorate as if in a lab. Flashy leisure suits, big hair, gold chains and lots of makeup for this one. Decorate with disco balls and listen to the Bee Gee's. You can even have a dance-off at the end of the night!

Saturday Night Live: This theme gives your guests a lot of great characters to chose from such as; Gumby, Land Shark, Church Lady or Craig and Arianna the Spartan Cheerleaders. You can buy "The best of SNL" and play it on a big screen television. People have a lot of fun with this theme because there have been so many crazy characters played by the SNL actors over the years.
