How To make An Adult Bib ( free sewing pattern )

Adult Bib Sewing Pattern

Try using a waterproof fabric on one side for more protection !

Materials List

It takes two ½ yards cut, in 45" fabric, to make one bib. Each side of the bid will measure 18" by 40".
Bib has two layers of fabric bound with bias tape.
The bib is reversable, so use two different colors or patterns if you like.
Velcro, hook and loop tape for the neck fastener.

Example bib

I didn't even bother with the bias tape.

I just sewed the right sides together
and turned it.

Then I appliqued a heart on the front.

Enlarged Pattern #1

makes a 16"wide X 20"long bib

Top quarter

Print this picture of the
right top quadrant twice.

Reverse one, for the left
top quadrant.

Enlarged pattern #2

makes a 16"wide X 20"long bib

bottom quarter
Right click this picture.
"Save picture as..." to
your desktop.

Print out the picture twice.
Reverse one.

Tape the four patterns together.
You may need to widen the neck hole a bit.
