Complex Coloring Pictures for Relaxation - Crafts -Therapy - Adult Coloring
If you loved coloring as a child, or you want an interesting pastime that results in a work of art you can enjoy, why not start coloring again as an adult? You can stay inside the lines, or add your own artistic designs and touches to the coloring pictures you find.
You can color pictures with crayons, colored pencils, chalk, water colors, markers or pastels. I like to cut out line drawings and paste them together to make collages. Coloring page artwork makes wonderful stencils and craft patterns. Try using line art from a coloring page to design patterns for stained glass and quilting.
You can even make your own coloring books or coloring pages from photographs - it's not hard to convert a photo to a coloring page if you have PhotoShop or a similar program - really!
Coloring is a wonderful creative activity for therapy, relaxation or meditation. You can color pictures to keep your mind active or to quiet it down - coloring isn't just for preschoolers, coloring for adults is cool!

Do you color with crayon, colored pencil, markers, or something else?
I've always been a colored pencil lover. I have markers, pastels, paints, pens and crayons galore, but my first choice to color or draw is my collection of blendable colored pencils. To get more artsy I use a bit of water on a brush to create a wash, or add outlines and details with fine line permanent ink markers.

Get Creative and Crafty with Line Art Pictures and Coloring Pages
Did you know you can make all sorts of cool gifts and crafts using coloring book pictures? Line art is the beginning - your imagination is your only limit.Try these ideas for creative crafts made with coloring pictures and line drawings.
1. Use line art drawings as templates for fabric crafts such as applique or embroidery.
2. Print out coloring page drawings to use as outlines for paper crafts, including pieced paper designs for cards or collages.
3. Make your own tee shirt or tote bag transfers from coloring pictures you've enlarged and printed, then color in the designs with fabric paints or heat-set crayons.
4. For a great party activity, print out several large format coloring sheets to assemble into a creative poster "wall of fame." Let guests color in the pictures (or embellish with paper, glitter and other craft findings) and add their signatures. This is fun for kids, teens and adults.
