Dyslexia in Adults and its Challenges
Adult dyslexia is a problem that is more common than folks may realize. The main cause for this is that lots of people are not diagnosed with dyslexia till they get into College or even later. Symptoms of dyslexia could also be hidden from parents or family members in a person's school career, and may become clear during college. Adults with dyslexia face a number of challenges, but if you've got the right information, you can treat yourself or a family member in the best ways possible.
Hence, if you suspect that any of your family members or friends is dyslexic, you should recommend that they'll take an adult dyslexia test.
Signs of Dyslexia
An online adult dyslexia test assesses your performance against one of the largest samples ever collected for an adult dyslexia test. In less than 30 minutes you'll receive a detailed report on whether you show any signs of dyslexia, or if you have any other literacy problems.
Adult dyslexia is also specified by defective long term memory retention, and poor concentration. If you suspect that a family member has dyslexia, you can notice that he or she will spell certain words wrong, but is able to pronounce them easily. This is largely because of the fact that folks with dyslexia will write the letter 'd' for 'b', and may mix up the numbers '6' and '9'. If someone does that and hasn't been diagnosed with dyslexia, it may be good to take an adult dyslexia test. Everyone who's 16 years or older, can take an adult dyslexia test online.
How to Deal with Adult Dyslexia
If one is aware of being dyslexic as a grown up, it is important not to be humiliated. Many adults try and hide the condition for fear of losing their job or receiving ridicule from colleagues or peers. However if you're not honest about your condition, your employer won't be understanding when you're not able to concentrate at company meetings or complete reports on time. If you're returning to school to receive an extra degree, your professors will must know that you've taken an adult dyslexia test and been diagnosed with adult dyslexia, so that adjustments can be made to the assignments or lesson plans you need to finish in the semester. Your teachers will most probably be really ready to assist you in any way possible especially if it's's obvious that you're putting forth the effort to do your utmost, despite a learning incapacity.

- Strephosymbolia, situs inversus totalis-w-Dextrocardia / we read in the true mirror image (backwards) as if in a mirror strephgosymbolia is the medical term (some what old) and has been replaced with just plain old dyslexia as a uniterm , we feel this is somewhat incorrect as reading in the mirror image has been around since the early days of rome with the Greek scribes , they used a text format called Boustrephedon , we have learned to write in this style just to have fun with friends , to see if they can figure out the words (most cannot) as it is a form of zig-zag writing that dates back about 3.600 year. however this style of text has a plus , it helps to learn to understand standard text format even if the text still appears backwards every other line.
