Adult Learning News - Going back to school as an adult
I have currently gone back to school at age 33. My wife is 38 and is finishing up Nursing School. We are doing this while raising a child. It is challenging but we are truly enjoying the experience. As we grow in our education we are meeting so many people who are doing the same thing or are thinking about it. I want to make this lens as informative as possible to help people who have questions about returning to school at an older age.
Choosing the right financing for your education
One of the most difficult parts of making my decision to go back to school was being able to pay for it. Many people have to make the decision to either get a loan, a grant, or financial aid of some sort. I chose to get a loan and I was fortunate enough to also get a grant for a part of my education.
But, as difficult as it may be to like figure out who you are going to have finance your home, it is also difficult to make the right decision on who will finance your education. There are many websites that can give you a fair comparison on different loan programs. eStudentLoan's LoanFinder makes finding, comparing and choosing a loan for college easy.
