You want your training program to grow with you, not against you. If you sign up for something for a year, you want to be able to get value for your entire year. You can find answers to questions for beginners almost anywhere online for free, but it's the advanced answers that everyone saves for behind closed doors. Sure these techniques can be found, but how much time will you waste trying to find them? Remember, this is time you could be using to build your next lens, blog, or membership website. These are the things that will make you money, not research.

It is good for your state of mind 

I eluded earlier that if you are paying for training, you want to be able to get answers to your questions all in one place. If you sign up for a one year membership and don't feel like you're getting value from it, then you are going to feel ripped off. This is not a healthy state of mind to be in; it is counter-productive for you. A gut feeling of being ripped off will make for many unproductive days and all you will be left with is an empty pocketbook because you will give up.

Searching Google for hours on end to find something is a big waste of time and chances are you will lose track of what you were working on in the first place. You may also end up on a ton of email lists trying to find that one "free report" that will give you the holy grail.
