It helps improve skin elasticity and re-generation. While vitamin E is a natural Anti-oxidant that works by inactivating destructive free radicals at the skin, thus slowing down the skin aging process. It also contains significant moisturizing properties to decrease the appearance of fine lines while helping to maintain skin elasticity.

Dermatologist often recommend titanium dioxide and zinc oxide because they provide sun protection. When combined with iron oxide, they are know to have anti-inflammatory properties which can have a calming effect on the skin, especially beneficial for rosacea & acne sufferers.

Ease of Use with Mineral Makeup Foundation

Easy as Swirl, Tap, & Buff!

Mineral makeup should be applied with a good set of brushes. You can apply your makeup as lightly or heavily as you desire.

To apply mineral makeup foundation, the first thing you do is place a small amount of the makeup in the lid. Swirl the brush in the lid to pick up the makeup. Turn the brush with the handle pointing down and tap the brush on the side of the lid. This allows the minerals to distribute evenly in the brush. Then, simply buff the minerals on your skin in a circular motion until you have achieved your desire results.

The best brush to use for applying your foundation is a kabuki brush.

What the heck is a kabuki brush? Great question!

A kabuki brush is a very densely packed brush. It gives very heavy coverage because so much more makeup is left on the bristles after you tap. It's a good option for people who want a more opaque look or need heavier coverage.

Ability to Maintain Your Mineral Makeup Brushes with Ease

Cleaning of Your Mineral Makeup Brushes

How To Clean Your Cosmetic Brushes

http://www.TheCosmeticsCampus.com Cosmetic Coach Lisa Liddiard shares her tips to cleaning your cosmetic brushes each week. A simple thing to do each week, takes you all of 2 minutes. No kidding. Every Sunday morning after I apply my makeup, I hit the sink and start the shampoo process for each brush. If you do this, your brushes will last for YEARS! No more throwing your brushes away, or trying to apply your makeup with a brush that is squished and sticking out every which way. Germs are everywhere and your makeup brushes are the biggest culprits. Throw your brushes away if you ever have a major infection, since cleaning them with shampoo won't fix the problem. I use a natural shampoo. This keep my brushes clean and less chemicals to dry them out. Stay away from brush cleaners. They dry your brushes out too much and they'll start loosing bristles because the high concentration of alcohol and other chemical cleaning ingredients inside. The only time you should use a brush cleaner is if you are letting someone use your brushes and you need a fast way to clean them off before you apply your makeup. Or if you teach makeup classes and have to clean them between clients. Watch the video and see what I do. See you on the inside! Ability to Match Your Skin Tone and Shade for a Natural Look

Mineral Makeup Provides Flexibility of Color Matching Your Skin Tone & Shade

Mineral Makeup Foundation - How To Choose The Right Foundation Shade

http://www.TheCosmeticsCampus.com -Cosmetics Coach Lisa Liddiard teaches how to choose the best mineral makeup foundation shade using a simple makeup application technique that works every time. atch this video and I'll show you how to choose the right foundation shade that works best for your skin tone. This simple technique of drawing a line of 2-3 different foundation colors across the lower part of your jaw, then waiting for 1 minute to let it 'sit' and mix with the heat of your skin and your own body oils. This will help you see which foundation 'disappears' best into your skin and that's the one you choose! Remember, foundation isn't meant to give color to your skin. That is done through your blush, bronzer, eye shadows, and lip colors. Foundation needs to match your skin exactly and if you look like a plain piece of paper when you've finished applying it, GREAT! You did it correctly. You don't want any mark or line where your foundation shade ends and your skin begins. When you follow this technique, you will never go wrong. If you have any questions or comments, just post them and I'll answer you with a 'VIDEO RESPONSE' since I'm sure you're not the only one with the issue you have. Advantages of Using Mineral Makeup Finishing Powder

Set Makeup, Blend Look Together, Minimize & Soften Pores, Gives a "Air-Brush" Effect

How to Apply Mineral Finishing Powder

http://www.TheCosmeticsCampus.com - Cosmetics Coach Lisa Liddiard shares her tips on applying mineral makeup finishing powder for a flawless, airbrushed look. Mineral Finishing Powder is translucent, meaning, it works for all skin tones and is soft, light, and doesn't look or feel like regular face powder. It gives your face an air brushed finish. Flawless and beautiful. It also miniminzes the appearance of large pores. This might just become your favorite product. I apply my mineral finishing powder after my blush and bronzer. This seals everything together, and takes the harsh look off my blush and bronzer and blends them together so you can't see where one starts and one ends. Carry it with you for those occassional touch ups. Since it's lightweight, adding more during the day is a breeze because it doesn't weights you down. Watch this video and see how I do it. Great lens! I love it. Need all the makeup advice I can get; so far the only mineral makeup I've used has been the Bare Minerals Mineral Veil, because it's the only shade light enough for my skin! I love it though, great natural look.

I'll be sure to visit your blog too. The only thing I can suggest that might improve this lens is to give your guestbook a title, something with "mineral makeup" in it if that's your primary tag.

I'm very happy to welcome you as the newest member of Skin Care for Women; please drop by and introduce yourself when you get a chance. Looking forward to getting to know you better! Best, Amanda Sage
