ADVANTAGES OF TILES

- Long-term investment
- Extremely durable/resilient
- Last lifetime without fading or wearing
- Able to withstand heavy traffic
- Ideal for outdoor/indoor use
- Low maintenance
- Easy to clean
- Fireproof
- Waterproof
- Have high slip resistance
- Good alternative to stone
- More superior to other flooring
- Non allergy product
- Eco product
DISADVANTAGES OF TILES
- Slight variation in batches, sometimes not exact colour
- Not as cosy as carpet flooring
- Cold (use under tile heating)
- High prices
- Might be slippery if wet

- I am so tired of the whole house being carpeted. My current home has both carpet and tiles flooring. I really like the tile floors. They are easy to keep clean and feel cool to my bare feet. My next home will have nothing but tile flooring.

- To Tssfacts: Tiles are quite nice in warm climates and with underfloor heating (cold climates).No ugly radiators.
Be careful choosing grout. Choose waterproof one.

- Seems like tiles would really be the easiest way to go if you are installing the flooring on your own. Nice lens.

- Thanks Davis66. The best usage for mosaic on the floor would be in bathrooms (shower room) or swimming pools. In some cases - it might be hard to maintain it because of trapped dust particles.
