Advent Calendars That Children Will Love
Advent calendars are used to celebrate the days of Advent while we wait for Christmas. While some use only religious calendars, a lot of people prefer to use secular calendars because they offer treats. y daughter loves Little Pet Shop toys, and this Advent Calendar was one of her favorites because she got three Littlest Pet Shop pets, and the other days are filled with items such as scarves, hats, goggles, cups of cocoa, and more. Some of the items are made of only cardboard, though they are few and far between. Some are just stickers, but they are fairly cute and pleased my daughter. The back also features pop out sections (5 of them) that are photos of Littlest Pet Shop characters and they are meant to act as ornaments and hang on a Christmas tree.

These Playmobil pieces can be used with any other Playmobil set, so it's perfect if your child already has a few sets.

This Advent Calendar, made by Playmobil, is much like the other Playmobil sets, in that they offer a scene at the end. This set can be set up with a backdrop, and each piece placed in an appropriate slot, to reveal one big scene at the opening of the last box. In this one, the child will receive a Santa and lots of little forest animals as well as food and other items. When set up, it appears as if Santa has brought food to all of the little animals.
Because of the size of the small pieces, this is not recommended for children aged 3 and under.
