Also, do you think an ad agency or any other company in another industry, would know better than your own. You are the players in the industry, Most ad agencies will know some part of the whole game plan, surely not everything.
- Dont Hunt for a local Ad agency: Today everything seems to be so virtual. You can send an email to China or India to get a creative job done in Days and would cost you a fraction of the cost than what you would get with the smallest local company. Also you have a lot of other advantages. If you want to hire someone locally, it should be because you would like to meet them time and time again to discuss business, and something which cannot be done over the internet or phone. If you think that the job can be done over the phone and the internet at a fraction of the cost with the same quality you get locally, you should spread your reach a bit wider. Also this has advantages. a Player outside your local premises may almost always give you a creative which does not exist in your area.

They will deliver to every small thing you say and at the cost you could never think of with a bigger company. its Important though, that you set your terms and conditions right before you start working with any company, big or small. Its not that Big companies will not drop out of some projects. Almost all ad agencies would agree that they have not completed at least 1 assignments in a year.
- Dont Go for statistics : A statistics stated that 95% of the statistics are created in the last 5 minutes when required. So would you go in for the statistics? Its not always true that statistics do a great job. A company performing consistently well in one area could be doing terribly in another which may lead to the fall of the entire orgianization. You are looking at stats on one side only and if you are thinking that you are on the safer side because of the statistics, Well you are not. Do not go in for statistics or at least Do not go ONLY based on the statsistics. There may be more to it than whats on your spreadsheet. Try to be a bit more open, go for someone new for there may be a lot more in the unexplored side of these companies than what the stats show on the other.
