Aerosmith's debut album wasn't initially well-received or well known, but that soon changed once Toys in the Attic was released. This CD arose from the ashes and spawned the hit "Dream On," their signature song for live performances. This CD has some excellent bluesy cuts like "Walkin the Dog," "Mama Kin," and "One Way Street." You'll definitely want to own this one!

Aerosmith was at a huge level of popularity when this CD was released in 1997. The first single was "Falling in Love (is Hard on the Knees)" and was produced partly by Glen Ballard. This CD has an eclectic mix of new and old style songs, like "Nine Lives" (the old) and "Hole in My Soul" (the new). A great all-around CD, most tracks are outstanding on this album, especially the first half or so.

Back to the basics with this CD. An album full of blues-covers, this is true gritty, old Aerosmith at its finest. Some of the tracks cover Fleetwood Mac and BB King. A great departure from the more commercial releases.

- Rock ON!.....Aerosmith's 'Dream On' was hot when I was in high school. I always thought the title track paled in comparison to the rest of the album. ....kudos on this lens and 5*
