The Hardest Part Of Affiliate Marketing
The hardest part for me with affiliate marketing is not creating content, not finding affiliate programs to promote; but rather getting the content actually onto the internet! Since I have been making money online since about 1998 I have used the following various methods of putting websites out there

Plain HTML
I used to use frontpage, the free bundled html editor from Microsoft. It was ok it had a few plain templates and a wysiwyg interface, but the main pain in the butt for me was menus. Every time I wanted to change 1 item on a menu I had to go thorough tens of other pages changing the exact same link - one page at a time. Yes, there was a menu function in there but damn if I could work out how to use it. I want my content out there on the net quick sharp!

Xsitepro
I wanted this for a really long time, but in my early years online I couldn't afford it - it was too expensive for me, and I think it's still overpriced now at $197 (and thats with $100 off). Xsitepro is a good program, it was the first advanced web site builder that was really aimed at affiliates and adsense publishers. Boy though, when you open that program up for the first time the word 'intuative' does NOT spring to mind. Yes, you can produce great looking websites, but the learning curve to use the program is far too steep. I wan't to publish my content quickly and professionally, with xsitepro I only ever published it professionally.

Blogger
Blogger is without doubt a fantastic publishing platform! It's on a high PR domain its got all the usual in-built blog features (and a great tool to get approved for your adsense account!) There are many people making a good living solely using blogger as thier method of getting content to the web. But the main drawback is that you don't own your website. If you are serious about your own affiliate marketing business then you need to OWN your website from the domain to the hosting. Forget free hosts and third party free blogs, because they can ultimately delete your content for any reason they care to think of - you need control over your web properties.

Self Hosted Wordpress
This is my current method of getting my content to the web. If you have been in the affiliate marketing business for more than 2 weeks you will have heard of this free publishing platform. A supurb customizable web publishing platform, with thousands and thousands of free themes and plugins available to enhance your website. It can be setup in just a couple of hours start to finish, so if you have your content ready you can set up a couple of sites a day - easily. The main drawback for me is sometimes I don't want a blog type interface, I want a more traditional web site look. This is possible with wordpress, but it takes an age to get it right., but at the moment it is the best way to do it - until now.
