For example, if one was to review the newest, coolest, cell phone on the market, in which you are an expert on and have the # page on Google for, but have no ties to the manufacturer or service providers. You could use an affiliate link from a company that has ties to the product or service. This will in turn monetize your site, which is just rewards for your superior content and search engine placement.
