Use webpages to promote each separate product
Step 1
Don't throw all of your other affiliate products all onto one page. Focus only one page on one affiliate product only.
Make those pages product reviews so people can see the pros and cons of the product you're recommending. You can even quote some of the testimonials from the owner's own page as long as you link back.
Writing articles is also another excellent way to promote affiliate products. Just don't use EzineArticles.com to do that because they don't allow it unless you know how to. GoArticles.com, ArticleBase.com, and Buzzle.com all allow affiliate links on their articles. Make sure to make the title really interesting and include a call to action.

But that's why you want them to subscribe to your newsletter so that you can slowly keep reminding them about it.
When you get visitors to your website, only 2 things can happen: they'll either buy the affiliate product or they'll leave and forget all about the website. If they signed up for your newsletter you can type information that can remind them about the product that they saw earlier and finally try out the product. Make sure you target the right people with the right products. Don't make your e-mail sound like a sales pitch, try to use words like 'try' or 'check out' instead of 'buy' or 'sales.'

Remember that out of every 100 visitors, 1 might buy. This is a rough estimate. Sometimes it can be way less or more. If you can promote a product and get 1,000 visitors a day, that's around 10 buyers right there.
