This Method Should Bring You Lots of Targeted Traffic
Pick a product from Clickbank's marketplace that is related to your website's topic, write a few reviews about the product; these should not seem like blatant advertisements but should sound very sincere. I recommend buying the product first so you know exactly what you are writing about.Submit these reviews to a few free article directories and make sure that you include a link to your website in the author's resource box, as many article directories don't allow links in the body of articles submitted. You can also republish the same articles on your website, but this time, include your affiliate links in the body of the articles so that your website's visitors can click and buy!
Getting your articles published on article directories will expose them to people that may otherwise miss your website and if you are lucky, your articles may be picked up and published in some ezines, blogs or websites. Publishers who "borrow" your articles are required to include your author's resource box with existing links intact, so although this method may be a bit time consuming, it should not be overlooked as a way to increase your website's traffic and bring you targeted visitors.

Making Money from Clickbank without a Website or an Email List
Can you Earn Clickbank Commissions without all the Expense?
Some say that email marketing is dead; others say that it is not necessary to own a website to be successful at affiliate marketing.A good way of starting up as an affiliate marketer is to create a Squidoo lens based on one affiliate product that you promote throughout your lens. Use your Squidoo lens as you would use a website to promote your lens; here is an example of a lens I have created to promote a clickbank product : Learn How to Flirt with Men.
As you can see, this lens has a bit of content related to the product promoted and I am trying to give my visitors some useful information while at the same time making them want to click my affiliate link to learn more (give a little away but not too much); I haven't got to publishing any articles about the product yet on article directories but I am still getting a fair bit of traffic to this lens and I am hoping I will get a few more sales.

The Real Secret to Successful Affiliate Marketing
The Money Is in the List
Yes, I know this is not really a secret as you've probably read this a hundred times before; did you ever wonder why this phrase is being used so much by marketers? This is simply because it's true: the money is in the list!Most affiliate marketing "Newbies" will try to avoid building a list for as long as they can, but the truth is that if you want to make a lot of money from affiliate marketing, you need a list of potential customers to whom you can email offers on a regular basis without spamming their email account.
So how do you get all those names in your list? There are a few methods used by Internet marketers:
1- Let your website's visitors download a free ebook or report from your site: they will need to enter their details in a form and but you must let them know that you will send them information on new products from time to time or they may mark your future emails as spam.
2- Write a newsletter (you can give a free product as an incentive to subscribe) that includes information that is useful to your subscribers in which you can add affiliate links, but not too many if you don't want to irritate your subscribers.
3- Buy leads; I don't recommend this method as it can get very expensive.
Autoresponder Recommendations
The Starting Point to Building a List
When you have decided that you need to build a list in order to promote great products to potential buyers, you will all agree that you need an autoresponder (if you don't, you haven't been paying attention: go and read up more about affiliate marketing and then come back here for more great affiliate marketing tips).An autoresponder is a tool that helps you collect names and email addresses of people that are interested in what you are selling; once you have your list ready, you can set up a number of email messages that will automatically go out to each person on your list in a certain order and at a certain frequency.
There are two excellent quality autoresponders out there: aweber and getresponse. These are the best you can get at the moment, as they are the most likely to get through email spam blockers but there is no denying that they are very expensive.
If you are an affiliate marketing "Newbie", you may not want to spend $100 upfront on an autoresponder service if you are not sure whether or not your investment will pay off.
Luckily, there are free services out there that will allow you to use an autoresponder at no cost. I don't see why you shouldn't sign up with Free Autobot: sure, you will get those annoying pop ups anytime you log into your account but at least, Free Autobot does not send advertisements to the people on your list.
You may want to start with a free service like Free Autobot and when you start earning money from your email marketing campaign, you can upgrade to a higher performance autoresponder service.

4 Useful Tips to Get the Best out of your Autoresponder
Autoresponder Tip no.1:Always run a test before sending emails to your list; create a new list, sign up with your own email address and hit send: if you don't get the expected results (important especially with a free autoresponder), don't use that autoresponder. The most common defaults are all emails being blocked by anti-spam programs or too many ads being displayed in your messages that may distract your prospects from the product or service you are promoting.
Autoresponder Tip no. 2:
Don't hassle your prospects! I had some people sending me 1 email a day promoting their products; in some cases I even got as many as 2 or 3 emails every day; let me tell you that I quickly unsubscribed: I would never buy from someone stalking my email account this way and you can't expect your prospects to trust your advice and buy anything from you if you keep bombarding them with emails promoting a bunch of different products!
Autoresponder Tip no. 3:
Give your prospects something valuable in every single email. Your emails shouldn't be plain sales letters; they should contain something that makes your prospects not want to sign off. Useful free tips related to your product, consider a small extract from the e-book you are promoting if you are allowed (something that will make them want to buy). The people on your list entrusted you with their email address, so please respect them and give them something worthwhile in exchange.
Autoresponder Tip no. 4:
Protect yourself from spam accusations. Each email you send out to your list should contain a link allowing them to easily unsubscribe. When people unsubscribe, make sure that they are not still getting emails. There are laws against sending unsolicited emails and you must abide by them.

I wish we could answer Y or N with this question. While I know autoresponders do work well, and I do have one, I concentrate on building a list that I can mail to myself as opposed to automated so people can see its not some rehashed material just trying to get them to buy something.
