Many of the newbie marketers who send me questions are so new to the whole idea of online business that at times it is difficult to decide where to begin.

Let me start at the beginning and tell you the whole story. If some of you are new, you might find it useful, if you are a super affiliate it would be good to refresh your memory about the plight of newbies.

Jimmy D Brown and his affiliate manager Nicole Dean announced a contest for affiliate as part of their Birthday Celebration.

And the innovative idea Nicole and Jimmy thought of was to involve not only super affiliates but also beginners. So Nicole announced 16 steps which any newbie affiliate could attempt and said they should complete any 9 of the steps to get a prize. The prize is a course "Super Affiliate Strategies". All who complete the 9 steps will get the prize.

I thought this was a good chance for my subscribers to learn the basic steps of affiliate marketing and also learn from the "Super Affiliate Strategies" course.

When I sent out an email to my list of subscribers, I started getting questions from them (well.. I did say I will help them if they can't do it themselves... so I asked for it.. :) )

What is an affiliate link?

Well... it has nothing to do with affection or late marriage.. :)

I started with the first step of sending them to ClickBank.

Go to ClickBankClickBank and sign up. It is free to sign up. You just sign up once and use the same id for the thousands of products in the ClickBank market place. Use a good username because that will be added to your link.
