What are Affiliate Programs?

Affiliate Marketing Basics: Let's Talk About Traffic

When you're just getting started in Affiliate Marketing, one of the most important things you need to learn about is traffic - specifically what it is and how to get it.

Why?

Because although it's become somewhat of a cliche these days, the truth is, "the money is in the list" - but that means YOUR list, not the list of the people whose products you're selling - at least not if you want to be successful.

Here's why. As an affiliate, your job is to find people who want to buy the products you're promoting, right? So to do that, you need to write an ad (or hire a copywriter to write it for you), and send people to a Website where they can buy the product.

BUT - there's a serious problem with using this method. Do you see what it is?

Anywhere from 60 to 95% of the people you send to the sales page probably aren't going to buy the first time.

1. Most people want to be certain that they're making the right decision, so they usually need to see or hear from you between 5 to 12 times before making a buying decision.

2. If you're paying for the ad and sending people to the seller's Website, the ones who don't buy disappear forever. (And neither you nor the seller will benefit.)

3. Of those who do buy, if you're only sending them to the sales page, YOU still lose them forever because you have no way of knowing who they are.

Here's the solution:

1. Write your ad and send prospects to a well-written squeeze page - YOUR squeeze page. (A squeeze page is a single page Website that has one purpose - to convince prospects to give you their contact information. Squeeze pages should be simple - no flash, no links, and if you use a graphic or photo, keep it simple and make sure it relates to the purpose of the page. How do you convince prospects to give you their contact information? By giving them information that is what they're expecting to find and that's useful to them.)

2. Offer them an incentive to give you their contact information. (This could be a free report, a free newsletter, an audio or video product - just make sure it's related to the niche or affiliate product and delivers great value even though it is free.)

3. After they've opted in to your autoresponder, send them to your affiliate sales page.

4. Follow up with them on a regular basis - mixing good information, free bonuses from time to time and additional affiliate products.

Wash, rinse, repeat. (Once you're making money from your first affiliate product, move on to the next and then the next and the next.)

The best thing about this is that you can set most of it up on your autoresponder, so you turn it into a "system" and it runs "almost" on autopilot. (There is NO SUCH THING as a business that runs 100% on autopilot - and don't believe anyone who tells you differently.) Any business - real business - takes work and effort. But by setting this system up this way, your autoresponder does the majority of the work, and you will only need to do simple updates and make sure you keep fresh information flowing.

The Affiliate Marketing Secret

All Private Label Content

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money online, and even if you don't have a list of customers who buy every time you email them, you can still make money with affiliate marketing with this cool tactic that I use. I actually have taught my mom to do this in several niches and she uses it to bring in a couple thousand dollars a month. She's wanting to retire and works a full time job, so I knew I had to come up with something she could do fairly easy.

First, you'll need to pick a pretty broad niche. Like health, hobbies, etc. Yes, you can even use Internet marketing. That's actually the niche I use this tactic for.

So, once you have your niche, you need to make sure their are plenty of digital products for your niche. ClickBank.com, http://www.PayDotCom.com, and http://www.SaleFlurry.com are the three biggest affiliate sites where you can find tons of digital products you can sell as an affiliate.

Pick 1 digital products to start out with. You're either going to have to buy it or ask the owner for a review copy because you'll need to write a review for the product. Now this is really important. You're not writing an ad for the product, you're writing a review. My suggestion is to go to a place like http://www.EzineArticles.com and read articles about how to write a review before writing your first one. It's really not that hard, so don't let that discourage you. Once you get your first one done, all other ones you write will be super easy.

Once you have your product reviewed, and the review written for it, it's time to create a blog, and post the review to your blog. Make sure you create links so that once the person reads your review, they can buy the product. These will be your affiliate links. I highly recommend getting your own domain name and installing a blog on it.

Okay, so you've got a blog with your product review. There's only one problem. No one is coming to your blog, right? Well here's where the secrets come in. Just kidding. The secret is there are no secrets. Just tactics you have to learn.

So the first thing I do is use an RSS submitter tool, and submit my blog rss feed to the directories. This will give you some instant traffic.

The second thing I do is pay an article writer to write an article for me on the topic of the product I have reviewed. Once you have your article, there's one more step you have to take before we use the articles, and that's keyword research.

You need to find easy to rank for keywords that are related to your product. An easy to rank for keyword is simply a keyword that gets good searches but doesn't have a lot of competition. There are a lot of software programs online that will help you determine easy to rank for keywords. You'll need 2-3 easy to rank for keywords per product.

Once you have those, make sure to take one of them and use it to link back to your site in your resource box. This will give you backlinks for that keyword because we're going to be submitting the article to article directories. Backlinks are important and submitting articles is a great way to get them.

Take your other keywords you have, and use other ways to get backlinks for them. Either have more articles written or learn more ways to get backlinks. Believe me, there are tons of ways to get backlinks and many of them are free.

Once you've done this, rinse and repeat with a new product....

What does all of this accomplish?

If you keep writing reviews for your products and putting your affiliate links in the reviews, you'll make sales on those products by driving traffic the ways I've told you. There are tons of ways to drive traffic, but this is the easy method. You'll get some instant traffic, but by using the backlink tactic, you'll also get long term traffic as your reviews start ranking for their keywords.

Economist debate on sharing: Round II
Here's the second of three rounds in the Economist debate on the benefits of sharing. This is my response to Andrew Keen's opener.

Being public, I shall rely on the public to respond for me:
In a discussion on Google+, Google News creator Krishna Bharat writes: "The thrust of Keen's argument seems to be that [...]
Privacy and speech
Two notable decisions in Europe reflect the tension between privacy and free speech.
The European Court of Human Rights came down on the side of press freedom — thus speech — when it ruled in favor of media reporting on public figures. And a Dutch German court ruled that journalists had a right to interview [...]
The temporary, pop-up corporation
A stat I heard repeated all over Davos: that the average lifespan of a Fortune 500 company is now 15 years, according to Cisco's John Chambers. Trying to confirm that figure, I found others saying the number is less than 50.
Whatever. It's far from forever.
So what if corporations more and more become short-lived [...]
Economist debate on sharing
The Economist has just launched a debate between me and Andrew Keen — and you — on the proposition that society benefits when we share information online." Here is my opening statement; follow the link for Andrew's and the discussion:

Efficiency over growth (and jobs)
The hook to every song sung at Davos is "jobs, jobs, jobs." The chorus of machers on stages here operate under an article of faith that growth can come back, that they can stimulate it, that that will create jobs, and then that all will be eventually well.
What if that's not the case? I [...]
Davos, disrupted
I'm among the disrupted of Davos. Outside, there's an #OccupyDavos encampment in igloos (really). Down the road, someone will be giving out an award to the worst company of the world. #DLD12: Viviane Reding on privacy
I'm at the DLD conference in Munich. Haven't live-blogged in ages. We are the lobbyists
The internet has helped untold publics to form. Yesterday, the internet became a public.
Or rather, millions of people who care about internet freedom used the net to organize and defend it against efforts to control and harm it.

The good news about the White House's response to an anti-SOPA petition is that it raised the discussion to the level of principles, arguing against "disrupting the underlying architecture of the Internet." That is where it needs to be.

Why not a reverse meter?
As I ponder the future of The New York Times, it occurred to me that its pay meter could be exactly reversed. I'll also tell you why this wouldn't work in a minute. Learn what it takes to become a Niche Super Affiliate

Over the past years, web hosting has grown bigger than it used to be. With more companies getting into this business and finding the many benefits it can give them, the demand for web hosting has never been higher. These seem to be the trend of today.

38 million people had put up their very first websites online by the year 2005 alone. It is estimated that in 2008, the Internet sales industry will top the dollar bank and continue to climb at a pretty rapid pace each and everyday. And to think, the majority of these sites will be offering different affiliate programs for people to choose and participate in.

This only means one thing. It is easier now to find the right web host for your application. The possibility of quality web hosting companies separating themselves from the rest of the industry is anticipated. If this is done, the unprofessional and incompetent ones will suffer.

Support will be the number one consideration for people when choosing a web host. It will be obvious that traditional advertising will become less and less effective. Most people would rather opt for the web host based on things that they see and hear. Also based on the recommendations by those who have tried these services before them and have proved to be a successful.

This is a great opportunity for web hosting affiliates and resellers alike. There are so many hosting companies today, in fact, literally hundreds of web hosting businesses and programs to choose from that are all vying and competing for your dollar, that the difficulty in finding the right one for them is not a problem anymore.

How does one become a successful affiliate in one, a few or even all the niche markets using web hosting?

If you think about it, everyone who needs a website needs a web hosting company to host it for them. As of now, there is really only a few leading hosting companies in the industry, such as hostgator.com and maybe godaddy.com to name just two. So most people choose hosts based from recommendations. Usually, they get it from the recommendations of friends who have had a good experience from having already availed themselves of a web hosting service or from proven web gurus who state quite plainly what host they are using and are seen to be having no problems.

With the many hosts offering affiliate programs, there is the tendency to find the one which you think will work best for you. Think of the product you will be promoting. Pattern them to the site and see if they are catering to the same things as you are.

When you have been with one host for quite some time and seem not to be making much despite all your effort, leave that one and look for another. There is no use in trying to stick to one when you would be before off in another one. Things will only have to get better from there because you already have been in worst of situations.

Try this out. If you are quite happy and satisfied with your web host, try to see if they are offering an affiliate program you can participate in. Instead of you paying them, why not make it the other way around; them paying you, Now that sounds a whole lot BETTER, doesn't it. The process can be as easy as putting a small "powered by" or "hosted by" link at the bottom of your page and you are already in an affiliate business.

Why choose paying for your web hosting when you do not have to? Try to get paid by letting people know you like your web host.

Always remember that when choosing a web host, choose the one that is known for its fantastic customer support. There are also many hosting affiliate programs. Residual affiliate programs is also being hosted. This is the " Continue To Get Paid every Month " program wherein you get paid a percentage every month for a client that you refer. This can allow you to have a steady source of income from referring the customer just the one time. With perseverance, you can even be quite successful in this field.

There are a lot of niche markets out there just waiting for the right affiliate to penetrate to them and make that extra dollars every month dream come true, or even the big grand-daddy dream of them all and actually become rich. Knowing which one to get into is the result of some diligent research leading to being confident enough of your potential to secure the now spotted potential for profits and the good results you will be getting.

Web hosting is just one affiliate market you could try out and make some good and continuous income. Just remember that to be successful in your online endeavor also means that time, effort and patience is needed at every step.

Nobody has invented the perfect program to conquer the all mighty affiliate market yet, although many have claimed to do so, the truth is that it is a combination of a number of factors put together in a certain way or order that brings success. But some people do know how to make it big in this kind of market, and they also know that their success hinges on the before-mentioned Time, Effort and Patience. If you are told or read that it can happen in the click of your fingers, know now that you are being told and most probably trying to be sold an empty promise. It is just knowing your kind of niche market and making the earnings there.

How To Choose Top 10 Affiliate Companies

By Tony Markx

All Private Label Content

Always be sure to ask the important questions first before you join any affiliate program. Do a little research about the choices of program that you intend to join into. Get some answers because they will be the deciding point of what you will be achieving later on. The little bit of research up front will save you time, effort and won't test your patience, while the program chosen without research becomes a failure and certain waste of time.

Will it cost you anything to join? Most affiliate programs being offered today are absolutely free of charge. So why settle for those that charge you some dollars before joining.

When do they issue the commission checks? Every program is different. Some issue their checks twice a month, once a month, every quarter, etc. Select the one that is suited to your payment time choice. Many affiliate programs are setting a minimum earned commission amount that an affiliate must meet or exceed in order for their checks to be issued.

What is the hit per sale ratio? This is the average number of hits to a banner or text link it takes to generate a sale based on all affiliate statistics. This factor is extremely important because this will tell you how much traffic you must generate before you can earn a commission from the sale.

How are referrals from an affiliate's site tracked and for how long do they remain in the system? You need to be confident on the program enough to track those people you refer from your site. This is the only way that you can get credit for a sale. The period of time that those people stay in the system is also important. This is because some visitors do not buy initially but may want to return later to make the purchase and if the cookies setting is say for instance 30 days and your referral returns 31 days later, you will not be credited for that sale and however more they make in the future.

Know if you will still get credit for the sale if it is done some months from a certain day, some affiliate programs offer lifetime commissions for referring the customer just the first time. These programs are the best in most ways for building a steady stream of income for the future, but always make sure that they are paying a decent commission percentage, ranging from 5% for a program that you can supply volume traffic to achieve enough sales to make a good check or payment, right up to 40% where you only need really well targeted small amounts of traffic to get good sales and hence forth profits.

What are the kinds of affiliate stats available? Your choice of affiliate program should be capable of offering detailed stats. They should be available online anytime you decide to check them out. Constantly checking your individual stats is important to know how many impressions, hits and sales are already generated from your site. Google Analytics is a free comprehensive stats program, that can also be combined with your Google Adwords Account thus providing a more targeted statistics read-out and better returns on your PPC campaigns.Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link was viewed by a visitor of your site. A hit is the once clicking of the banner or text links.

Does the affiliate program also pay for the hits and impressions besides the commissions on sales? It is important that impressions and hits are also paid, as this will add to the earnings you get from the sales commission. This is especially important if the program you are in offers low sales to hit ratio.

Who is the online retailer? Find out whom you are doing business with to know if it is really a solid company. Know the products they are selling and the average amount they are achieving. The more you know about the retailer offering you the affiliate program, the easier it will be for you to know if that program is really for you and your site. Always ask questions up front through their support system to see the speed of return of their reply, and whether or not the reply was more than helpful in answering your questions. This little and simple test will make or break your decision to continue with them.

Why, because if they are not fast and very helpful with their customer support in regards to your test, you can guarantee that they will be the same towards your referrals and really that means they will not stay customers for long at all, resulting in little or no commissions for you and even worse, any and most probably all the trust built with those customers towards you will simply vanish, and that can cause long time hurt and struggle to gain their trust again, besides the obvious punishment this can sustain on your business.

Always be honest and provide only quality premium recommendations to your customers or new referrals, this strategy will pay handsome dividends and untold benefits to build upon for the long term future, plus you are able to sleep straight in bed at night. Prove yourself above all those scammers and deceivers and your business plus customers willing to accept your products as a whole will see exponential growth and profits. Just applying what has been said in this short but to the point paragraph will certainly make you a star when combined with time, effort and patience ok. Spend 10 mins with a piece of paper and pen and write down everyway way this can be implemented into your existing or soon to be up and running business, then do it. This just WORKS OK.

Is the affiliate a one tier or two tier program? A single tier program pays you only for the business you yourself have generated. A two tier program pays you for the business you supply directly, plus it also pays you a commission on the sales generated by any affiliate you sponsor in your program. Some two-tier programs are even paying small fees on each new affiliate you sponsor. More like a recruitment fee. Always try to only join two tier programs as the benefit and returns are massively better for you for the same amount of time and effort used to get the same customer for a one tier program. It's a No-Brainer, two tiered rules.

Lastly, what is the amount of commission paid? 20% - 80% (and some cases, 100%!) is the commission paid by most programs. .01% - .05% is the amount paid for each hit. If you find a program that also pays for impressions, the amount paid is not much at all. As you can see from the figures, you will now understand why the average sales amount and hit to sale ratio is important, actually it's vitally important.

These are just some of the questions that needed answering first before you enter into any affiliate program. You should be familiar with the many important aspects that your chosen program should have before incorporating them into your website, always have a list of the most common important questions handy. Then try to ask your affiliate program choices these questions. These can help you select the right program for you site from among the many available.

The 3 Tactics All Marketers Must Know To Survive Online

By Tony Markx

All Private Label Content

Now every affiliate marketer is always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck. Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.

There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing arena online.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing.

Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

2. Offer free reports to your readers.

If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word "free" because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product.

Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.

Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.

The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do.

Besides, think of the huge paychecks you will be receiving!

Famous Doctor Secretly Listens in as Top 25 Internet Marketing Millionaires Try to Keep Best Secrets Away from You!

A gentleman named Dr. Mark DeBrincat has at least 25 of the Web's richest millionaires shaking in their Berluti's (that's a $1,830 pair of men's shoes, by the way, in case you didn't already know!)

Why? Simple ...

Dr. Mark had the "privilege" of getting a "sneak peek" insider scoop at 25 of the World's top Internet marketers' collection of best-kept secrets - "secrets" that enable these same millionaires to remain in first-place over everybody else trying to earn a living online.

If you are like the majority of us (yours truly included) you should be appalled by the idea that a small group of "Internet elitists" (less than 0.0034% of all online marketers) are hoarding a collection of strategies, secrets, techniques, tricks and even "marketing weapons" that allow them to control 99.997% of the Web's wealth.

This even blows away the widely accepted "80/20 rule" we're all familiar with that usually implies that 20% of the people control or possess 80% of the money.

So, what's Dr. Mark got his hands on?

The ANSWER: Dr. Mark has compiled a collection of 53 of the best-kept secrets from among the aforementioned 25 Internet experts (millionaires!)

Each of the 53 secrets is actually a fully-definitive report providing specific detailed instructions showing you exactly how to better-perform in such things as 1. Email marketing, 2. Internet marketing, 3. Advertising, 4. Free promotions, 5. Press releases, and 6. More effective copywriting, etc.

But don't think by any means that just because you recognize one or more of these categories and that you may be familiar with them to some degree that you already know what Dr. Mark has.

That would be the BIGGEST mistake you could possibly make ever!

It's similar to two people who both take karate: one's a beginner while the other is a 7th degree black belt. While both are karate practitioners who study the exact same styles and moves, there is clearly a broad gap (even a canyon!) between their respective skill levels.

Likewise, just because you may be doing email marketing to some extent, it doesn't mean that you know "email marketing" like the one Internet expert (from among the 25 Internet experts) who's making $60 million a year online from just email marketing alone!

Or, like one of the other experts (again from the 25 Internet experts) who's making over $180 million a year using just 1-paged websites that contain no graphics, and nothing fancy, yet which churn out cash by the ton daily.

How are they doing his?

That's the "meat and potatoes" found inside Dr. Mark's newly released "25 Internet Experts."

And although all the topics are the same as those discussed generally and openly online among Internet and affiliate marketers alike, the chief differences are the exact details outlining what these experts are doing that's perhaps just a degree or two off from the mainstream (and that's making all the difference in the World!)

What's got these same 25 top gurus so worried s that since Dr. Mark is making his info collection readily available, their worried that the massive wealth they now control may quickly fall into other people's hands (including YOURS!)

How To Make $100 A Day With Ebook Directories

Many people online look for that one big opportunity that will make them millions of dollars. The truth of the matter is that there is not ONE big opportunity, but several good opportunities that will make you a lot of money. Keep finding opportunities and using them and you will start to see the money coming in. I'd like to teach you a very easy to use technique that you can use to create a $100 a day income in a very short period of time.

Your first step in this process is to find 10 different topics. You'll be able to find topics all around you. In the news, in forums, in the search engines, and thousands of other places. Once you decide on your topic, you are going to create an ebook 10-20 pages in length for each topic. Within each ebook, you will need to make sure you place affiliate links related to the ebook topic.

Once you have these ebooks created I suggest you also create some graphics for them. It just gives your ebook more appeal and shows people what they are getting. Since the Internet is a virtual store, you will need to give people images to relate to. I have seen my ebook download increase by over 200% by showing people a graphic of the ebook.

Now that you have your ebooks and graphics created, it's time to find as many ebook directories as you possibly can and submit your ebooks to these directories. You can find a list of ebook directories by going to http://www.marketingforrealpeople.com/ebook-directory-list.htm

As you submit your ebook to more and more directories, more and more people will begin downloading them and reading them. The more people read them, the more opportunity you will have of making money when they purchase a product or service through your affiliate links within your ebooks.

So why create 10 of these ebooks?

Because you should make an average of at least $10 a day from each ebook which would give you a $100 a day income. If you're not making this much, try putting different affiliate links in your ebooks. Test and track your affiliate links until you are satisfied with the income you are getting.

As you add more ebooks, your daily income will also go up.

You don't have to use this technique with affiliate links only. You could also use this technique to drive traffic to your website that you have placed Google Adsense ads on. Instead of mentioning a product or service that you could get affiliate commissions on, mention your website that you have Google Adsense ads on.

With a little time and effort, you could easily be making $100 a day with this easy and simple technique. If you put a little hard work up front, you will reap a lot of rewards in the end.

Cory Rudl Interview

Interview with Corey Rudl:
The Secrets of an Internet Millionaire

Discover the secrets of an Internet millionaire in this exclusive interview with online marketing guru Corey Rudl. Corey is the author of the #1 best-selling course, "The Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet" and is probably one of the most recognized names in Internet marketing today.

In the following interview, Corey reveals how he grew his business from a one-man show in his parents' basement to four online businesses that attract over 1.8 million visitors per month and generated over $7.6 MILLION in online sales last year. Corey reveals exactly how he did it, and details precisely what entrepreneurs need to be doing TODAY to be successful online.

Hi Corey, and thanks so much for agreeing to do this interview. Maybe the best way for us to begin is for you to tell us a bit about yourself and your company, The Internet Marketing Center.

Sure. Well, first off, I am the President and CEO of The Internet Marketing Center, which you can find online at www.marketingtips.com. We specialize in showing people how they can drive tons of targeted traffic to their web sites and how to turn that traffic into sales and profits. We provide all the information you need to learn how to market your business online, in the form of home-study courses, books, video and audio tapes, and more.

What really sets us apart from all the other marketing courses, though, is that we give you the concepts AND the software tools you need to promote and automate your business on the Internet. And we do all of this based on our own real-world tests and experience, not just theory. In other words, we do it and prove it BEFORE we teach it. This is how we are able to guarantee your results.

Actually, that brings up a good question: Why, exactly, is your "Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet" course so successful? Aren't you leading this market space?

Yes, we are by far the leaders in educating our Small Office/Home Office audience in how to make money on the Internet.

The reason the course is so successful is because we practice what we preach. We generated about $7.6 million in business last year, all online. And that's not to mention the tens of millions of dollars we have helped our clients generate. We have over 70,000 affiliates and we get over 1.8 million unique visitors to our sites every month, all on a shoestring budget and all from scratch. So we are actually using all the methods that we teach.

Would you hire a poor stock broker? Of course not. If he cannot make himself rich, how's he going to help you? Would you hire a personal trainer that is not in good shape? No way! If they can't do it themselves, how can you be sure that what they are teaching you is not garbage?

People know our reputation and they know that the stuff we teach in the course actually works. We walk people through every single step they need to follow to be successful marketing their business on the Internet -- even if they don't have an online business yet.

We also have a few big Fortune 500 corporate clients. They're attracted to us because most of them are so caught up in red tape that they don't get to see the guerilla marketing tactics used to generate immediate revenues like small businesses do. We're just now starting to see the big corporations picking up some of the things we were recommending two years ago!

So the key to your success is practicing what you preach?

Exactly. Another big reason we're so successful is that we take all the risk. Our guarantee is simple -- if you don't make money from what you've learned in the course, then you pay nothing. You can return it anytime for a full refund for any reason. Even if you decide you don't like the paper it's printed on, we'll give you all of your money back. And you know what? We get nearly zilch returns -- and that speaks for itself.

Don't take my word for it, check out the testimonials at our site. We publish only one percent of the testimonials we receive, but you can see that it's not people saying "Oh, it was great," but people saying they "Made an extra $70,000 already this year," or "Traffic increased by 400% in 30 days." That's what counts -- results. That is the scoreboard at the end of the day.

And we really do cover everything in the course you could ever imagine. We teach you everything from A to Z; everything from starting up from scratch with nothing to how to drive traffic to your site, right down to setting up your site to convert visitors to more sales.

You'll learn how to maximize your exposure on the search engines, how to automate your entire business, how to build pop-up boxes, and hundreds of other things. We even give you templates and ideas to copy from us to ensure that nothing will go wrong!

That reminds me of a funny story... A couple of years back, I thought of trying to get my course on the reading list for an Internet Marketing program being offered by a top university. I had some meetings with a few of their senior marketing professors, hoping to get "Insider Secrets" into the hands of all their Internet Marketing students.

They finally came back to me and said, basically, "Thanks, but no thanks." Now, I was shocked! Why wouldn't they want their students to have the #1 Internet Marketing course as part of their education? I wouldn't let the professor leave my office until she told me.

It turns out they were actually scared that if their students read my course and found out that it cost less than two hundred dollars, they would feel ripped off by the school, which was basically charging them thousands of dollars for the same information!

That's quite a story! It just goes to show that "traditional" education isn't always the best way to get the BEST information.

Corey, could you tell us a little bit about your own history and background? How did you get started marketing online?

Well, I won't go too far back as I don't want to bore you, but my first online venture was way back in 1994. I had written a book called "Car Secrets Revealed" and had been trying to market it offline. After wasting a lot of money on magazine and print ads, I took a friend's advice and decided to try selling it over the Internet. Those magazine ads had eaten up most of my cash, but I did manage to scrape together enough to get my first web site up and running.

I did everything myself -- built the site in HTML 1.0, learned how to use FTP programs, figured out how to build a banner, and things like that. Those were the days when Netscape 1.0 had just come out and there was no such thing as secure real-time online ordering. It was all so new and exciting!

I was glued to my computer 24 hours a day testing all kinds of wild and crazy marketing ideas to see which ones worked. And I can tell you that 95 out of 100 ideas failed, but the ones that did work, worked like crazy! Within 18 months I had the #1 best-selling car book online... and it's been #1 ever since!

When people started seeing that my counter had logged over 1,000,000 visitors at CarSecrets.com, they started asking how I was marketing it. They wanted to know how such a simple and basic site was generating so much traffic, and if I could teach them how to do it. Before too long I realized that I wasn't able to teach people everything I knew during a one-week consulting contract.

So I decided to "brain dump" everything I knew into a course, which I called "The Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet." It taught just about everything I knew with real-life examples of exactly what I had tested, what worked, and what didn't. That was what set my course apart from every other Internet marketing course out there -- that I had actually tested and proven my techniques. Other courses were just teaching fluff and theory.

By promoting the course with the exact same techniques I was teaching, it became the #1 best-selling Internet marketing course online within three months. Since then, it has been through four new versions -- it needs to be updated regularly as the Internet changes so fast! But through all this time, it continues to be the #1 best-selling Internet marketing course online.

Because we're so far out in front of the curve as to what's working and what isn't, we have also been able to develop some of the world's leading Internet promotional and automation software. Basically, we developed software that we needed for our own business. We made sure it was the best and then made it available to our clients. This has helped us become one of the world's leading Internet marketing companies helping small to medium businesses drive traffic and make more sales.

So, what specific suggestions do you have for someone interested in getting started marketing on the Web?

Wow! That's a huge question and, to be blunt, there's no way I could answer it in just a few minutes. In fact, that's why I wrote a 1,000-page course in the first place... There are literally hundreds of tips and suggestions for building a successful presence online. There is just so much to k
