Affiliate Optin Generator Review

Marketing products as an affiliate is a great way to make income on the Internet. However, there is one inherent problem. As we've all heard many, many times - the money's in the list. As an affiliate marketer you have no way to capture the contact information of the traffic you send to a merchant's sales page and, consequently, no way to use this information to build your list. If the customer buys, you make a commission. If they don't you don't. Either way you never see that customer again. Affiliate Optin Generator(also known as Affiliate Link Magic) solves this problem. Basically the way it works is by creating a script that is activated when the product sales page is loaded.

Does it work? In a word -yes. I use the product and love it. A caveat on using the product. It DOES NOT create the popup that you use to present your own offer and capture the traffic's contact info. You have to create that yourself, which means that you have to have your own domain and hosting that your popup lives on. Once you have that set up, you give the tool your affiliate link(usually the long ugly thing you got from the affiliate program), a title for the popup(typically the name of the product you're promoting, the url of your popup, the width and height of the popup, and the delay time for the popup to be activated once the prospect is on the sales page. You then tell it to generate the script.

In order to use the script, you need to have an index.html file created that lives where your popup does. You then copy the script into the index file(it is the ONLY thing that goes in the file) and upload that to your site and you're good to go. When you get ready to promote, you promote the url of the index file rather than your affiliate url for the product you're promoting. This both cloaks your affiliate link and looks much nicer because the url you promote is in the format http://www.yourdomain.com/yourpage. Then you just sit back and watch the magic and, believe me, it works.

The screenshot I've provided should clarify the instructions I've given above. I've linked it to my site(yes, I'm an affiliate for the product) so mousing over the image should show you the link I'm promoting. If you click the image you will be taken to the merchant's sales page and actually see the tool in action.

I should mention that the Lite version ONLY allows you to generate popups to display when the sales page loads. There is a Pro version that you can upgrade to that will allow you to create exit popups and much more but is fairly expensive.

In all, the Lite version is well worth the small price and, even though I haven't used the Pro version, I'm quite sure it will do everything it claims if you can afford it.

This is an incredibly powerful tool that allows you to create popups of types that you have probably never heard of. Not only that, it allows you to fully specify the behavior of your popups, i.e entry popups, exit popups, slide ins, fade outs, pop unders, modal and modeless popups and more. In fact, there is so much to it that I would have to write a book to describe it all. I've used it myself and it works like a charm.

You can get a free trial version with limited features. It's still useful but I would recommend the fully paid version. It isn't expensive at all and you get a ton of incredible bonuses including software packages and ecourses that you can use, sell and, in some cases, give away to help with your list building. The worth of the bonuses far exceeds the low price of the Generator. I highly recommend it. Again, I'm an affiliate for the product so the images are linked to my affiliate url.

One thing that I want to point out here, is that DPG is NOT designed to work with affiliate pages. I tried and ended up having images not displayed and my affiliate info being lost because the promotion link was no longer my affiliate link. The reason I lost a lot of the images is that the merchant had given many of them relative paths instead of absolute urls. This is meant to be used with your own pages.

This is another killer little tool that I absolutely love. It "senses" the moment somebody tries to leave your site and throws up a popup, stopping them dead in their tracks. It's extremely easy to use and works perfectly. In this little guy, when you configure the Exit Grabber, you give it the path to your popup page, specify the source file you want the popup to apply to, set sizes, tell it to inject the code into the source file and you're done. You don't have to manually go into the source file and add the popup code and the script.

Again, you have to create and host the popup and source files yourself. It isn't meant to work with affiliate pages. I tried and had the same result that I did with DPG.

This tool is free and completely functional. If you decide to check it out, you will see a OTO for a tool that creates Hover Popups. It isn't free but it also isn't expensive. It truly is a OTO. If you want it you'll have to get it then because a cookie will be stored if you pass it up and you will never see it again.

In conclusion, these are three great products that I consider to be must have tools for an Internet Marketer. I use them all and love them, or I wouldn't recommend them. Unless you have the expertise and development tools to create the popups yourself or the spare cash to pay to have the work done for you, these are tools you really need in your marketing "toolchest".
