Affiliate Project X: Not Another Caned Review
Affiliate Project X is arguably the one of the biggest movers of 2006. However, be sure to read this lens to find out why I don't recommend Affiliate Project X For New Affiliate Marketers.
Affiliate Project X broke many sales records, and Chris McNeenney did a wonderful job in product launch. But does Affiliate Project X live up to all the hype that surrounds it?
While it's possible that Chris the author believes his product lives up to the hype, I would beg to differ. Affiliate Project X no doubt has some very advanced affiliate marketing techniques, and Chris does a wonderful job of breaking everything down and laying it out. I give him an A+ for his work, and his support.
Yet, I believe Affiliate Project X doesn't live up to the hype and is not the best value for money.
Make no mistakes about it. The techniques in Affiliate Project X can make smart marketers a lot of money, but here's where it is lacking. Affiliate marketing has a steep learning curve. No one book can hand hold a new comer to the road of success. As many markters have experienced, it takes a lot of time and dedication to succeed as an affiliate marketer. Many people quit because of the frustration and the hard work involved in succeeding.

Affiliate Project X seems to indicate that all that toil can be side stepped. That's simply not true. It is possible for advanced marketers, as well as new marketers with the proper training, to make leaps with Affiliate Project X. However, for the vast majority of those who start in Internet Marketing, Affiliate Project X can do them more harm than good.
When I read reviews for Affiliate Project X, I noticed many people were blown away with the techniques that Chris mentioned. They were ecstatic someone finally spoke and let the cat out the bag with these secret techniques.
I and a few other marketers weren't shocked. These were advanced techniques that I knew about. Moreoever, if someone were to apply these advanced techniques without a solid foundation, they are bound to fail.
I realized I was very lucky to have found a private forum that has taught me much more than Affiliate Project X can give.
And that's what's necessary for someone to truly succeed in Internet Marketing, personal one-on-one coaching and training that will guide you through the long arduous road to success in Internet Marketing.
I am not saying Affiliate Project X isn't good. It's a very good guide, and I personaly got a few nuggets out of it. However, in terms of value for money and taking someone by the hand and getting the on the road to success, you need personal coaching.
