Affordable Disney Family Vacations - Yes! They do exist!

I love a good sale. When I'm looking for stuff for my kids or school supplies I know where to go to find the best values. I'll admit I was out of my element when I started planning for our vacation.

But at my house, if affordable Disney family vacations were going to happen, I knew it was up to me to figure it out. Then I found an expert that not only knew how the travel industry works but more importantly knew Disney, inside and out.

As I had suspected, there's a price for those in the know and a price for those that aren't. Isn't that the way it always works.

If you're standing in line you're wasting time that could be spent obtaining more value out of your stay at Disney.

With Disney's FASTPASS reservation system you go to the attraction and put your theme park pass(it's like a credit card) in the FASTPASS machine. It spit out a FASTPASS ticket that says you can come back to the ride and ggo through the FASTPASS line between 11:15 and 1:15 for example. Here's some FASTPASS tips that you may not get anywhere else:

1) It's free to use.(I thought it was something I had to buy at first, a lot of people do.)

2) Everybody in your family doesn't have to go up to the FASTPASS machine. I just give my husband all our park passes and he quickly runs all four of them through.

3) Your FASTPASS is still good even after the end time expires.

4) Usually you can get a FASTPASS for another ride two hours after you obtain your current FASTPASS, even if you haven't used them yet.

5) You can get a FASTPASS at one park and go to another park and get one without having to wait two hours.
