So if you rent out your timeshare or use a exchange service additional fees may be charged by your timeshare resort.
Maintenance fees that go up as much as 4 Percent annually. Maintenance fees pay for the property taxes, utilities, insurance, ground keeping, house keeping, on site management, keeping appliances running, fix or replace broken items, they also reserve money for larger repairs such as roofs.
Special Assessments for larger projects that go beyond your maintenance fee. Special Assessments can be very expensive. When buying a timeshare ask to see the records of the resorts annual maintenance fees over the last several years, these records will give you a good quess in what your maintenance fees will be in the future. If your timeshare resort is new you will not have to worry about special assessments for a while.
I think the best Bang for your Buck is vacation packages that Gives you the same Advantages of owning a time share with out the expense.
