I want to introduce you to the designer, Loralie Harris.

Loralie knew from a very early age, she had a gift. Her creativity was encouraged by her mother, and grandmother.

She grew up in California in the 1950's. While still in high school she started what would later be, a very lucrative career in design.

Although it was dresses for friends, the seeds were planted.

She went on to study fashion and costume design in college. A preference for fancy, and fantasy designs. A theme that was obvious in her creations.

After college, she married and moved to Alaska. Where she opened her own boutique.

She was later encouraged by a valued garment industry veteran to leave Alaska and begin a wholesale manufacture of her gowns. Which she did.

Her company, Loralie Originals was a tremendous success in the bridal industry, across the United States, and Europe.

She is a four-time recipient of the prestigious DEBI (Distinctive Excellence in the Bridal Industry) Award in the category of prom. Her designs have been featured in Seventeen, Teen Prom, Your Prom, YM and Elle Girl.
