African mango is growing in popularity, so many people who are into healthy eating and organic foods have been wondering what this mysterious fruit is. African Mango (Irvingia Gabonesis) is basically a genus of several African trees, more know to us as "wild mango" or "bush mango".
When these trees blossom , they yield these delicious mango fruits. These fruits are very rich in vitamins and other elements. African mango is also of great value because of its nuts.

What can I do with African Mango Nuts?
Actually, you can do several things with African mango nuts. If you have an oil pressing machine , they can serve as a wonderful material for vegetable oil.
You can also grind them in powder and use as a thickening material in your cooking.
What about the fruit itself?
African mango is a more or less a typical mango fruit, so you can do multiple things with it if you want.Basically same things as with regular mango, like: add them to salads, they can serve as a nice material for a "spicy mexican" tacos,
due to their mouth watering effect and sweet taste.
Or, of course, you can eat them as fruits. They are pretty tasty and sweet, believe me.
