The Many Things You Can do After Prom

There are so many choices that the first thing you want to do is find out from others what they have done and get their opinions. Also consider how many of your party will be engaging in after prom activities. Will your whole group want to go or just a few? Whatever you decided make sure you have a crystal clear idea of what you want to do before prom night. Last minute ideas never work out. Make sure you clue your parents in on what's happening. They need to know where you are just in case something happens.

The traditional after prom spot in which many prom- goers attend is a next day trip to Six Flags Great Adventure or another local amusement park. You can meet up with some friends and hang out at Six Flags all day. Many prom-goers enjoy this because it is an after prom reflection on how things went and it also extends prom events to a two day adventure instead of just one. You can go on rides, eat, talk and just have fun in the amusement park with your fellow classmates and friends.

One idea that is a long stretch is going to an out of town amusement park or trip. This one is tricky because you will have to stay at a hotel and your parents might not approve because there is no adult supervision. Some parents will trust you enough to allow such a thing; other will not be as lenient. Just make sure you plan this one ahead so that your parents can know what is going on ahead of time. It also gives you enough time to plan something else just in case they say no.

Another idea is going out to eat after prom. After all you probably danced all your food away and your stomach might be growling for some more. So got out to eat with a couple of friends and find the nearest 24-hour diner you can find. I recommend a 24-hour diner because you don't want to rush from prom to get something to eat. It is also just nice to reflect on the evening without having to gulp down your food.

Some other great ideas include bowling. Bowling is perfect for talking with your friends and just hanging out as you knock down the pins. A comedy club might be your idea of fun. You can laugh till morning as the jokes keep rolling. Ice-skating is also an option, as well as playing board games, spending the night at a friend's house, and maybe even watching the sunrise with your date and friends. Prom is special and the after prom is just as important. Have fun, and remember to always plan ahead. Be safe and always make smart choices.
