This new iPod dock certainly will not make you the cool kid like when it was actually cool to carry one around everywhere you went. I do not think it is really worth the price though. The dock/speaker will cost you around $44, and that seems a bit unreasonable for what you are getting. The speakers at least are portable and will not need batteries to run and come in black, red, silver, or pink. I would recommend it only if boom box speakers are your thing or you really want to go and relive the good old days.

Want to turn your iPod Touch into an iPhone? With the Sprint ZTE Peel you can. It is an iPod Touch case that is also a 3G hotspot. This means you will be able to access your wi-fi at all times, making usage of Skype and other calling and texting applications work anywhere on the fly. It is always nice to be able to have wi-fi, but there are some drawbacks. For one it will cost you $80 for the case itself and then an additional $30 for a measly 1GB of data to be shared between two devices. It will run you about $70, so I would only suggest you get this if you feel very worried about your iPod dropping. Both of these designs by Scott Wilson of Minimal Studios definitely showcase that simple can still be best.

The Elecom iPod Shuffle headphones eliminate the need for wires to be attached to your iPod Nano in order for you to listen to it. Due to the Shuffle's conveniently small frame you can simply plug it in where the right ear bud is and you are good to go. this just goes to show how amazing technology has gone, but unfortunately the trade off for this wireless music experience with your shuffle is somewhat pricey. The headphones will run you about $50 U.S, but the catch is these are made in Japan so you will have to import them. I am sure that not long from now we will see some headphones of similar design popping into the market.
