GreenLeaf, I live in taiwan and I am planning to start a small agarwood farm. In your article above, you state that " So far, very few investors have seen any profits and some have made heavy losses." Can you please explain to me why and where the difficulty lays in growing agarwood trees and creating a profit, when it is one of the most expensive and rare trees in the world. Thanks and I look forward to your reply and any advice. Rita

    Hey green leaf,
I have 1500 trees on our land in Thailand, anyone thats telling you it,s not worth big,big money is spinning you a yarn, go ahead and put them 1.5 x2.00 metres apart, make sure you feed them one time a year by making a small hole in the ground next to the tree and give them the most expensive fertilizer you can afford. don,t sell them to some idiot who trys to get them off you cheap if you want to know more email me on rothaihome@hotmail.co.uk or study the net first you tube is a good scource too, also check out the C A kit in your country, they sell it there, this gaurentees the resin in every tree, the resin is currently selling for $5000 per kilo, yes that is correct, now I don,t know the exchange rate but in Thai baht 155,000 per kilo !!! go do it now espesialy if it,s rainy season as this will bed down the roots, all the best, Ro
