Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is a fantasy-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by the Norwegian computer, video game developer company Funcom for PC and the Xbox 360.

Hyborian Adventures is the first installment in the planned Age of Conan series and the game settings takes place in pseudo-historical ancient world called the Hyborian Age, within the continent of the Hyborian kingdoms, a year after the events depicted in Robert E. Howard's sole Conan novel, The Hour of the Dragon. The warlord Conan has seized the throne of Aquilonia, but ancient evils seek to overthrow him.

The game primary will contain three countries, Cimmeria, a northern country with snow and highlands, Aquilonia, which contains "green hills, lush riverbeds, and the marvelous city of Tarantia", and Stygia, with mostly deserts and "some beautiful cities" - as well as the island of Tortage which "has a diverse geography ranging from jungle to harbors.

When creating a character in Age of Conan, the players may choose from four playable classes that will allow them to individually customize their characters' combo attacks, skills, special abilities and deadly spells so to ensure that no two characters are exactly the same.

Rogue - Barbarian, Ranger or Assassin
Soldier - Conqueror, Dark Templar or Guardian
Mage - Herald of Xotli, Demonologist or Necromancer

For any serious AOC player who are tired of grinding levels, looking up how to do quests and trying to figure out the right ways to level up to 80, Ashling Age of Conan Leveling Guide is the best guide available so far I have come across.

While I didn't really manage to level to 80 in 5 days due to work commitments, I did manage to get my new Conqueror up to level 74 in 5 days played with the help of this guide.

I also know that Ashling AOC Leveling Guide is highly recommended among many current players including new players. In fact, many of the players who have followed this amazing guide have reported easily leveling from 1-80 in under 2 weeks!

It can safely be said that you will not find a better guide on the market that has been proven to deliver results for powerleveling an AOC character super fast other than Ashling Age of Conan Leveling Guide!

This is also another guide that I would highly recommend if you are serious about playing Age of Conan well, especially in a PVP envirnoment.

I first bought this Age of Conan Strategy Guide before the release of Ashling Leveling Guide. Then it was just 115 pages but with the recent updates it has grown to 130 pages.

This guide gives you detailed explanations of the different classes' attributes, proficiencies, skills, abilities and strategies that you need to win in both PVE and PVP envirnoment. I particularly found the PVP sections of the guide invaluable. It clearly explains the best PVP strategies any AOC player would need to play really well against the different races, classes and archetypes.

As for the leveling, while it does reveals what you need to do and where you need to go to level up fast, it is not as comprehensive or as easy to understand as Ashling's Leveling Guide. There is no graphic maps to guide you along and you need to have a certaining understanding of the AOC world to apply the leveling strategies well.

(To put it simply, Ashling's Guide is a powerleveling guide to help you level in the shortest amount of time while this strategy guide is not.)

However, as I mentioned above that if you are looking to play well in PVP, this Unofficial Age of Conan Strategy Guide is a must have!
