Business cards for farmers, smallholders and farm & machinery suppliers
With this lens I hope to cover most aspects of farming, agriculture and smallholding, so there should be a card for everyone. Do you need a business card? Well, they're certainly useful; if you go to shows, you can hand them out, or if you have a market stall or farm shop they're useful to give to new customers as reminders. But these are not just for producers, some of these could be useful for machinery dealers or repairers - tractors, plows, combine harvesters - fertilizer and farm supplies, farm machinery dealers and repairers or contractors.
All of these cards are designed mainly by a small group of country-loving photographers and artists, including myself, and available for purchase from Zazzle, a print on demand company. Clicking on each image will take you to the customization window, where you can put in your own details, or browse each artist's shop for other products.

Farm animals, eggs and dairy
Whether you're a cattle breeder, or sell eggs from home, it's still necessary to remind people that you are there. Every one likes an attractive picture, so are more likely to keep a card if it's appealing, and shows instantly what you produce, rather than just a text-based card. This section will cover most barnyard animals and their products. Most of these cards also have customizable text or an image on the reverse. Don't be put off if the card doesn't say what you want, they are very easy to change.
Cattle business cards
For cattle farmers or ranchers, there are several breed specific business cards here - Limousin, Normandy cow, Charolais, Black Angus, Saler, Holstein, Guernsey, Hereford, Highland, Belgian Blue and Texas Longhorn. Or perhaps you have a farm shop, supply milk and dairy products, veal, or sell youngstock. They could also be used by livestock transporters, feed suppliers - any business related to cows - even 'large animal' vets.

A selection of cards for those who breed sheep, goats or pigs, including Texel sheep and French alpine or oberhasli and pygmy goats.
Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys & Geese
Business cards for poultry farmers
Most poultry keepers sell eggs, whether for eating or incubating, or even if you rear birds for meat, selling the chicks, point of lay, or supply poultry food, one of these cards is sure to suit your business. Here you'll find cards featuring Light Sussex chickens, Rhode Island Reds and some mixed breeds, muscovy ducklings, a white turkey, and both white and grey geese.
Other farm animal business cards
Farming isn't just about cows, other animals include deer, alpacas and llamas, bees and honey, game birds such as quails, emus and even snails!

Specifically for Vets
It can be quite hard to find business cards to cater for animals other than cats, dogs and other small pets, but knowing that some veterinarians specialize in the larger farm animals, here are two designs to fit those needs - one with horse, cow, goat and chicken, and one with horse, cat and dog. The cards also have a space for appointments on the reverse and matching letterheads.
Crops & farm machinery business cards
This section shows cards designed for arable farmers, feed, fertiliser and farm suppliers, contractors, dealers and implement or machinery hire and repairs. The crops include maize, barley, wheat, and other grain crops, hay and cotton, with some new cards showing small square bales of horse hay.

Farming takes a lot of machinery! I know on our small plot, making hay means cutting, turning, raking, baling, and carting and stacking - that's 5 changes of machinery when you only have one tractor. Professional farmers usually have a tractor for each piece of equipment (envy!). Tractors, plows (ploughs), harvesters, crop sprayers and dusters, silage and contractors:
And of course, all these fields need irrigating and spraying.
