The origins of this group were very unusual. Polde Poljasek, Serbi and another man have written some funny songs that have recorded entirely in jest, without any expectations. These songs were heard by radio editors and reported on the Pop workshop with the song parading tango . Then came the song butchers son. Their songs are as funny as their name and like many other works they are hard to translate because of plays on words.

Serbi was the first dancer in the group and was not intended as a singer. The second week after their appearance on radio they were invited to Carinthia as escort of Marjan SMODE group. Their main characters, who were described in the poems, they were firemen, farmers were dealing with alcohol problems. They have written music especially easy for a broad masses.

Very interesting was their first appearance after 20 minutes when they had nothing more to play. However, as requested to continue entering, they repeated all the songs again. All together they were doing more for fun than for real, because they thought that Agropop will work from March until the summer, but they worked as many as 16 successful years. They also had a concert in Tivoli, where it was 8000 people, a lot for a smal country like Slovenia.

One of their greatest hits album is "just one million", which was sold in 110 thousand copies, and together they have sold around half a million tapes and disks. Slovene language has only 2 million users so 5% of the whole population is astonishingly high.

The group has 16 years of operation, issued 15 albums, of which one was a collection of hits and one "live" album.

In 2010 they released another album hits live, as a group received more media attention because of illness of their singer Serbi, profits from the sale of plates have been dedicated to her recovery.
