Book 1 in the series, this book starts the series off in a big way. Lachlain the werewolf king has been hidden away and tortured by the horde ( vampires) for a very long time until one day he smells his mate. Now he will stop at nothing to not only get his mate who is half vampire half valkyrie, but to keep her. Emma is a timid girl who is afraid of everything until a huge half feral lykae informs her she is his mate and them promptly kidnaps her!!!. She not only has to deal with that but also try to keep the vampires from kidnapping her.

This is a highly entertaining book and will keep you asking for more.

Another good book by kresley cole who is one of my favorite authors. In the second book in the immortals after dark series, a series about vampires, werewolves, valkyrie and other paranormal creatures,the story of Kaderin a valkyrie who we heard a little about in the first book and sebastian a brooding yet totally adorable vampire unfolds.
Kaderin is cursed or blessed, depending on how you look at it, to have no emotions and this holds until she meets Sebastian who recognizes her as his bride ( the soul mate of a vampire recognized by her ability to make his heart beat again). Over the period of the hie which is a competition for the paranormal community that is like a totally vicious amazing race, Sebastian tries to get Kaderin to accept the bond between them.

This novel is very interesting and will keep you glued from the very first page. It has some funny parts and also some hot scenes. Lovers of paranormal romance will love this book.

Love Is Blind By Lynsay Sands. 

Love is blind but in the case of Lady Clarissa Cambray love is also dangerous since being around her is hazardous to any man. The problem is her step mother wants to marry her off so badly and has decided that maybe having her do without her glasses, which she absolutely needs to see, will help her prospects. Needless to say this is a disaster waiting to happen and it does happen in the form of Clarissa stepping on her would be suitors' toes on the dance floor, setting another ones hair on fire when all she was trying to do was to lean in close enough to see him, and other such incidents. How is a girl supposed to find a husband when it is said that to go near her is to have your life in your hands?!!. A novel filled with Lynsay Sands trademark humor.

Grayson James who works for a secret agency that deals with ancient artifacts, has been sent to find the jewel of dunamis which is so powerful that all the rulers or wannabe rulers in atlantis wants to own it. The jewel has been stolen many times from the current owner (whoever that may be) and can do a lot of damage in the wrong hands. So Grayson has been dispatched to either retrieve the jewel or destroy it. There is one little problem though, the jewel is a very lovely woman. A fun ride from beginning to end.
