List of Aion Classes
The game will have 8 playable character classes, 2 for each standard MMORPG archetype. Warrior is the armored, close-range fighter. Scout is the lightly armored, sneaky and stealthy killed. Mage is the wielder of destructive magics, while Priest can use healing magic. They can specialize further and follow one of the two paths. Here's the breakdown of Aion classes:
- Warriors who can specialize as Gladiators (close range combat) or Templars (defensive auras). They're the "tanks" in MMORPG slang.
- Scouts who can specialize as Rangers (ranged attacks & traps) or Assassins (attacking from stealth). They're the "ranged dps" characters in MMORPG terms.
- Mages who can specialize as Spiritmasters (pet summoners) or Sorcerers (direct damage dealers). They're the "magic dps" classes, if you will.
- Priests who can specialize as Clerics (healing & resurrection) or Chanters (buffing & some healing). Again, they're the "healers" that you have come to expect in almost all MMOs but with a few original twists.

A young traveler is shown a vision of the future and offered a path to godhood. She makes a long journey in order to attain her Wings and Ascend as a Daeva.

- The game sure does looks like fun, much better than WoW, Wc3 I hope! I can't wait 'till it comes out. I just wish it's not p2p, hoped Aion raised enough money for f2p. Anyways, I'm looking forward to this!
