Airedale terriers often suffer from hip dysplacia, but is otherwise free from inherited diseases.

About 23 inches high. Weighing in at 50-70 pounds. This makes it the largest of the terrier breeds.

Intelligent, loyal and an overall friendly dog to live with. However it must feel loved and respected.
