Hey. I'm Stanley, a one year old Airedale Terrier. I came to live with my hooman girl when I was 10 months old and she adopted me through Airedale Rescue. She said she promised her cat, Merv, a puppy and that I belong to him. (You and I both know that's just a cover for the fact that I am a surrogate child for HER). She thinks I'm a bit of a goober (she's right) and nicknamed me Gooberstan. Since I sometimes seem to live in a world of my own, I thought I'd make this blog about MY world from MY perspective.

I'm a superDALE is because I am extremely smart and am always there for my mum (ie, when she locked me and the car keys in the car, I unlocked the car door for her)! Mum got me as her 16th B-Day present from grandpa and we've been inseparable ever since. I saw mum through high school graduation, moved from Victoria to the big city - Vancouver with mum, went to many of mum's lectures with her, and finally saw her through university graduation. Words cannot describe the bond mum and I share. It is truly a once in a life time connection that we have with each other. Mum says I'm her "one in a million soulmate", I think so too!!!

I was born on May 18, 2004 so I will be 3 on my birthday this year. I am a 1 1/2 year old Airedale Terrier. Mom had been wanting a pretty muscular pup to protect her when dad was gone. She visited a breeder in Missouri and she knew when she saw me I was going to be the protector she needed. She didn't however expect me to be quite as strong as I am...what did she expect though? She did name me Hercules!

It works like this...the hoomans feed us and care for us and we provide them with a never-ending fun in return. I am a female, Airedale Terrier and my name is Baby Rocket Dog. I answer to Baby, Babe and even Rocket. I was born on Feb.1st,2007 and my birth Mother's name was Lucy and father was Poof. The bi-peds who are now my parents adopted me from a man from Flagstaff, Arizona when I was 8 weeks old. My little "brother" is Hootie, a Welsh Terrier, and Mom got him on June 30th,2008 from State Line, Washington. His birthday is May 6th,2008.He adores me, as a younger sibling should. I make sure he knows what the pecking order is in our household and only have to put him in line about once a day. I do most of the talking for Hootie.
