Textbook style for serious readers!
These books are all excellent books about airlines, but they do have a few issues - they tend to attract a specific audience and so read like textbooks and they suffer from documenting the industry at a point in time, when we all know it changes extremely quickly and unless you are really lucky, you won't get them at your local library!
However, if you are serious about the industry, these books and these guys will teach you a lot and give you a great grounding for understanding and seeing through the rather more 'fluffy' commentary and analysis you'll see in the mainstream media!
I particularly like the Airline Marketing & Management one; you'll keep going back to it because it talks about the basics.
