Airplane! ~ Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?
In Airplane! The Movie, ex-Navy pilot Ted Striker has been nervous about flying ever since THAT incident during the war.
He's on a flight which would cause anyone concern: he seems to be the only sane person aboard. Of course, everything that could possibly go wrong on this flight does go wrong.
What do you expect with a co-pilot who doesn't realize he's a basketball star, and an air traffic controller with a substance abuse problem?
"A hospital? What is it?"
"It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now."

I remember going to the cinema to watch this movie when it was first released, and it is one of the few films that actually made me laugh out loud. So much so, that I was actually crying with laughter at some of the rapid one-liners. It still makes me laugh today, even after several viewings and the passing of a lot of time.
