The Airzone Spring Trampoline and trampoline reviews

Airzone Trampolines come in diameter sizes of 8 to 14 feet depending on how much space you have in your backyard but they are not difficult to transport (just have some help with you when you do move it).....if you live in an HOA run it by them as well. If I may make an obvious suggestion--find the flattest ground surface you can. Even the slightest grade will make optimizing the use of any trampoline difficult to balance and less safe.

1. Strength. This Airzone Spring Trampoline comes with stainless steel springs that are basically unbreakable but the trampoline itself is heavy (this is NOT a bad thing) so you will need two to three people when you are assembling the unit. The instructions are not difficult to understand (and the directions are mainly pictures that show you step-by-step what to do anyway) but you will need a bit of strength to get it together. The legs are U-shaped so you have essentially 12 legs holding the trampoline down for better balance and stability. This is a big difference between most other trampolines this size--much better balance. Better balance=safer trampoline. Also, periodically you should apply a silicone spray on the stretch band straps so that they do not deteriorate.

2. Safety. The true value of this trampoline comes in the soft bounce....this trampoline will propel you high in the air, but with a safer, easier bounce. Airzone Spring Trampolines are equipped with polybeds which are resilient and provide a deeper, softer bounce. The padding is thick, weatherproof, and safely covers all of the springs. Common sense dictates that very strong, violent winds may prevail in tough storms, so prepare in advance with stakes if you have to. The Airzone Spring Trampoline also meets all ASTM safety requirements which ought to provide additional peace of mind for parents. One of the prerequisites of my kids jumping on the trampoline is that they do so responsibly--and there have been no issues with those ground rules laid out on the table. If you are still concerned with the overall safety of your children you can purchase an existing Airzone trampoline enclosure or net specifically designed for this model.

I purchased this product for my 60 pound 8 year old daughter on April 23rd for a birthday gift. She plays on it daily along with my 200 pound fiance and myself at 115 pounds. This goes over the weight limit and we are not gentle with our jumping. We have also had numerous others on it along with ourselves during her birthday party and it has held up wonderfully. If it can take all the abuse that we give it then i have to say that it is a very durable, wonderful, and safe trampoline. --Jessica Goodrich

I bought this trampoline for Christmas 2008 for my oldest daughter who has down's syndrome and loves them. First, I am a five foot tall woman who assembled this trampoline with the assistance of my twelve yr old daughter. It was amazingly simple although at times I was challenged with hand-strength in getting the springs in place.

Second, the springs have yet to wear out.

Third, the pad is starting to fray, after ONE YEAR outside, in the weather, assembled in full sun throughout the day. In southeast Louisiana, no less, with frequent rain and humid hot days. I think that this is normal wear and tear. The trampoline is used very frequently, almost daily by my special needs daughter and on the weekends by all four of my children.

Fourth, pad is in great condition.

Lastly, I have no complaints with this product AT ALL! I was hesitant with my order after reading some of the reviews placed but decided to give it a chance and am glad that I did. I will say that my heaviest child weighs 85 lbs at 4'10", another is 90# at 5'2", and the other two don't hit 30# as toddlers. Perhaps that makes a difference? Dad and I have been known to jump on it as well on occasion. Regardless of the jumper's size, it has commendable bounce. Knowing what I know now, I would not hesitate; I would order immediately! I think I've already gotten my money's worth out of a budget-priced trampoline- and I'm still getting more out of it!---JustTracie

We have a pool with only a small area for a trampoline so the 12ft trampoline was the only size that would fit. We bought it for our [...] daughter. She's has had it for a year now and it has held up pretty well considering her [...] brother jumps on it with all his friends. The only thing that needs to be replaced is the pad that protects the springs and that's only because we don't cover it and it is exposed to the rain all year long.
