AJ Godinho - A Gift from God to All Who Know Him

Do you recognize this photo? Chances are that you do. However, in case you don't, I strongly recommend that you visit at least some of AJ Godinho's lenses. He is an outstanding Squidoo lensmaster and I have learned a lot about many things because of the visits I have made to his lenses.

AJ Godinho has graced Squidoo with his presence for a couple of years. He has joined the rank of Giant Squid but it may take a while before he reaches the Giant Squid 100 Club status; he desires to take his time when crafting Squidoo lenses and often creates works of art in the process.

My Introduction to AJ Godinho

One might say it was coincidence, another might say it was by accident but I believe it was by design that I really took notice of AJ Godinho when stumbling upon the lens he created which I've featured immediately below.

After all, visiting this lens has changed the course of my life. It awakened in me a renewed desire to draw closer to God. The presentation gripped me, as did the Bible verses and promises that were featured.

I've corresponded a bit with AJ as a result and he truly is a friend whom I feel was sent from Heaven. I'm sure many of you feel the same way.

Pronouncing Godinho

I asked AJ once how to pronounce his last name. I came up with various ways and wondered which way would be correct.

He responded:
~ God in you. ~

I thought it was most interesting until I realized he was kidding.
He then wrote:
goo-deen-o

A Gift from God

~ March 20, 2011 ~

God gives and He takes away;
It's a fact that's here to stay.
Do what you can with all your might
And strive to keep the Lord in sight.

We are your friends, you know it's true.
We each thank God for sending you.
You are a treasured gift to us;
You're always here, yet make no fuss.

As God grants you another day
Upon this Earth - He lets you stay;
Please know that we are also here
To lift you up in our prayer.

And so we wish you all the best
That life can bring, despite the tests.
We wish you health and happiness
And, in the end, eternal bliss.

    Happy birthday wot woz, AJ - nice that you are so highly thought of. Thanks Norma.

    I've been to Abu Dhabi - soooo different from England - I never appreciated home until I experienced the heat and the desert (not much grew there 30 years ago) - when I got back to London in May, all the trees were in blossom and the land so green it was breathtaking, and I've never criticized England again!

    He's been by my lenses, and even blessed one. I don't know a lot about him, but took the quiz you made about him anyway, and passed. Kind of scary, I guessed them all! Haha. Very nice lens.

    I have seen AJ around Squidoo a lot, and just from reading the nice comments he leaves for other lensmasters, I can tell he is someone special and a blessing to the Squidoo community. The day AJ left a comment on one of my lenses, I felt blessed although I didn't even know much about him at the time! AJ is intelligent, always optimistic and very friendly. This is a wonderful lens you created about AJ, I know he must be proud!

    The first time I met Anthony here on Squidoo it made my heart happy to know he Loved the Lord as I do, it's always nice to meet someone with strong Faith...and a very nice person indeed.
