What are co-registrations

Co-registration is a cooperative sharing of thank you pages.

Someone that has just signed up for your newsletter and verified their email gets sent to a thank you page that has small ads for other people's ezines on it. They have already shown that they are willing to sign up for email series and if any of the offers interest them they check the box and add in their email address.

All you do is send them to a thank you page when they verify their email address that shows them ads for other ezines.

I know your first thought. Why would I want to let my subscriber sign up for someone else's newsletter?

Very simply - they will do the same for you. You can get your ad shown 3-9 times for each time you show this page depending on your membership level.

See unlike leads you buy, these are people that have actually made a conscious decision to join your newsletter. They actually want information on your topic. They didn't sign up to win an Ipod or an Xbox or other such prize.

My favorite co-registration service is Advertising Know How.

Using co-registrations has allowed me to increase my list building results by more thanĀ 20%.

How well does your squeeze page work?

First a squeeze page or lead capture page is the page you are using to gather subscribers to your list.

How well it works will have a direct result on how well and quickly your list grows.

Checking and testing your rate of conversions and then split testing the results can greatly improve your result.

There are lots of little changes that can be tested but you really need to test one at a time. The biggest things to test initially are your headline and your offer.

Once those are optimized then you can start on the little things like graphics, backgrounds, text on subit buttton etc.

Not sure where to get the offer, create the template and more? There is a new service coming soon that you may find if interest.

How many holes do you have?

Do you review your marketing procedures on a regular basis? I know I haven't been at least anywhere near what I should be.

I love to get systems set up and profitable but how much money am I leaving on the table because I don't review what they are doing on a regular basis? Quickly finding out it is quite a bit.

Just started a total review of things and I kicking myself for some of the holes I am finding.

Started with a simple thank you page for my tracking book which I give away. All it did was say thank you. Added a resell rights product I own there and discount the price and the next morning what do I find? Gee a payment notice. How many of these have I missed over the last few months?

It is not just thank you pages though. This set the light bulb off. How many other places have I neglected?

Understand that I love to set up systems and let them go. This allows me to create a system and go onto the next.

The problem is that things change.

This set me off on a mission. Spend an hour a day reviewing my systems.

How long since you have checked and reviewed your systems lately?

Which ads in your email series convert?
How are your thank you page offers converting?
Do you have offers on your thank you page?
How long since you replaced an ad on your autoresponder series?
Take the time to review these on a regular basis. Find and plug the holes in your system.

You will be amazed at what a difference it can make to your bottom line. I am are you?

3 Reasons Why You Should Love Unsubscribes

If you are like most new marketers you just dread logging into your autoresponder and seeing that you have lost list members due to them unsubscribing. Well I am here to tell you three good reasons to look forward to getting unsubscribes.

The first is that you are actually using your list. The only way that I have ever seen to not get an unsubscribe is to never send an email. If you are not going to use the list why go to the time and effort to build it. So congratulate your self when you get the unsubscribe because you are actually using your list.

The second thing is that someone is opening your email. To unsubscribe they had to at least open the email and click the unsubscribe link. The good thing is that your headline worked and got them to open your email. Now if you are using dishonest headlines, (You have won, your account status, and other headlines along those lines) this is not a good thing and you are reaping what you have sown. If you are using a solid headline that matches your
email and it gets opened this is a good thing. Your headline is doing its job.

The third good reason to be glad to get unsubscribes has to do with personality. Now here is a shocker (said with sarcasm dripping from the keyboard) Not everyone is going to like you or your writing style. Those that don't will unsubscribe. The good thing though is that if they don't care for your style you will never build a relationship with them. If you can't build a relationship with them they will most likely never buy from you. So each unsubscribe will make your list more targeted to people who actually like your style and are more likely to respond favorably to your offers that meet their needs.

So now you have three good reasons to no longer dread seeing that people have decided to unsubscribe from your list. Rejoice in the fact that you are actually making your list stronger and more profitable for you in the longer run.

Focus - The key to accomplishment

The one thing in common with all of the successful people I have known is the ability to focus. It is probably the KEY to being successful marketing on the internet.

It is also the absolute hardest thing to do for the average marketer. I know that lack of focus at times has put me at least a year behind where I should be on my marketing efforts.

If you market using free or low cost methods regardless of which way or the product that you market you are consistently bombarded with a variety of ads for an easier, better, guaranteed way to get rich. This causes you to always be changing horses in midstream ( a sure way to get wet:-). After all the two hours I spent promoting the last program hasn't gotten me rich so this new one must be the one that will retire me.

The very first thing you have to do is decide where you want to go. After all if you don't know where you are going the odds are real slim that you will get there. For most of us that will be as an affiliate of a program at least to start with. It is how I do it and most successful people ,even the program owners, use affiliate programs for additional income.

If this is the way you decide to go make sure that you avoid the biggest mistake. Learn to focus on the primary thing it takes to be successful. Promote YOU.
