.Akrit Jaswal is best known in India as a child surgeon who helps many people in the area but never went to medical school. Akrit was speaking by ten months of age and skipped crawling, he went straight to walking. He began reading at the age of five, Shakespeare nonetheless. Akrit developed a strong passion for the medical field, the anatomy, and science. He began asking doctors if he could observe surgeries and was allowed to by the age of six. After Akrit performed his first surgery that was successful at the age of seven, he was hailed a child prodigy throughout India.

The young child genius believes it is his destiny to find the cure for cancer and has been working towards that his entire life. He has developed a concept called oral gene therapy where he would genetically alter the cancerous cells. He is India's youngest University student at the age of twelve.
