The University Of Alabama WON the 2009 SEC Football Championship
Ranked #32 in Sports, #1,876 overall
The Crimson Tide ARE The Football Champs!
HIGH TIDE WARNING!
I grew up idolizing Coach Paul Bear Bryant and Alabama Football. I cannot tell you why, but I did. When it came time to choose a college to attend in my home state, Auburn University never entered my mind. It was only THE University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa for me.
The Crimson Tide Football program has had a few (well, more than a few) bad years lately, but football is on its way out of the doldrums in Tuscaloosa! In fact, 2008 was a fabulous year for the Tide! Too bad they had to play Florida and Utah! See the 2008 Season below.
(I have included a link to all the 2008 Statistics, too.)
The Tide rose again in 2009 and did WIN the SEC Championship in 2009.
Who knows, they might even win the National Championship! But I know better than to predict THAT! Don't want to jinx it!
Yea Alabama!
Drown 'em Tide!

- I think alabama will win the sec this year. THe only reason florida is no. 1 is because of tebow. But the past few games he hasnt been him self. And they will stand no chance against alabamas defence and MOUNT CODY!!

- Hi,
I must say that Alabama did a great job tonight with taking down LSU.. And as a Gator fan im looking forward to the SEC championship in Atlanta.. But there seems to be one thing bothering me.. It seems that Alabama strugled a little with LSU and yet no one noticed.. Florida once again put up more then enough to put away there last opponet but they say the Gator Offense strugled.. Yet no one has said anything about Alabamas close and almost disasterous Inerception that if would have been called right could have led to an Alabama loss.. Makes you think.. George, Mobile Ala

- You will not be able to throw against LSU who's defensive backfield is ALMOST as fast as Florida's. If Alabama throws your lame QB will be intersepted for sure. To have a chance at winning you will need to throw the ball. Alabama simply cannot put up enough points to stay with the second best team in the SEC...LSU. Speed and the ability to put points on the score board is the name of the game these days. Alabama escapted Tennessee because of blocked and missed field goals...Bama got out of that game by the skin of their teeth. Luck has run out for the Tide. If there is a lucky team in football it is LSU and they are certainly a lot like Florida who will win the SEC Championship. With the loss to LSU they will not even have the chance to face Florida who will clearly beat anyone in the country. They are stronger than last year and the rest of college football is a bit weaker. Tebow will carry the Florida Gators through the SEC Championship and then the National Championship.
