Adventures You Can Take in Alaska
Alaska has dozens and dozens of State Parks. Travelers can alsoi choose destinations n Alaska National Parks. My favorite is Denali where I went rock climbing and fishing with another camper.
You'll find Grizzly Bear and Moose in such numbers that you'll know what it means to say "an abundance of wildlife." Alaska visitors can also tour National Monuments where you can find even more wilderness and solitude if you like.
Some visitors like to tour the Museums in Alaska where you can see Native American Art. If you like daredevils, you can even go to the Bush Pilots museum.
Alaska is a truly wonderful state. Residents and visitors alike can hike, bike, hunt, fish, canoe, kayak, camp, climb, fly, tour, sight see, and stay in wonderful lodges, sight see.
Photographers will always have interesting subjects. The landscapes are dramatic and inspiring. The people are fascinating.
Once you set up base camp, or find that rustic lodge or lavish resort, you can take field trips in any direction and discover new horizons.
You can take train rides across the beautiful country side, take bus tours of Denali National Park, and cruise ships through the Inland Passage. When I was there, I spent five days aboard a ferry traveling the inland passage and will always remember the shoreline, the birds, and the sounds of whales.
In Alaska, you can travel on your own, use a guide, take tours, or travel with family and friends. It's such an amazing place, you'll find each day a new and exciting adventure that you'll remember always.

You'll need one or more maps and depending on where you go, you may need a guide, a compass, a book, or a GPS. I recommend you plan ahead, read a bit, study some maps, and then take some of the materials you've studied along with you while you're traveling.

- I'm dying to visit Alaska. The only thing deterring me is the $15k cost of a two week cruise/land tour at the moment. In the meantime, I'm featuring your lens on my Denali National Park lens. Blessed by the US Travel Angel!
