Intellectual Giant
Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist who developed the theory of general relativity, effecting a revolution in physics. He is often regarded as the father of modern physics and one of the most prolific intellects in human history.
When the reference of "Einstein" is made, it's either in a sarcastic manner; as if you're a 'know-it-all,' or as a term of endearment, as in, "that guys an Einstein." Sometimes the name is used scornfully toward others; as a put down but in reality, Einstein is synonymous with Genius.
The real Albert Einstein transitioned from this life to the next on April 18, 1955. Einstein became an American citizen in 1940. One thing that most people don't know about Einstein is that, as a Jewish American, he was a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People NAACP at Princeton and campaigned for the civil rights of African Americans. Einstein worked with civil rights activist W. E. B. Du Bois.
In 1946 Einstein called racism America's "worst disease," and later stated, "Race prejudice has unfortunately become an American tradition which is uncritically handed down from one generation to the next. The only remedies are enlightenment and education"
The day before he died of internal bleeding caused by the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm, Einstein refused surgery. He stated, "I want to go when I want. It is tasteless to prolong life artificially. I have done my share, it is time to go. I will do it elegantly."
To say that Albert Einstein was fascinatingly brilliant would be a gross understatement. One of the characteristics that made him one of the greatest thinkers of our time is that he totally thought "outside the box" and "walked to the beat of his own drum." His intelligence is what set him apart and made him a mind to reckon with.
Mr. Einstein left some very memorable quotes. If the author may be so bold, the object of this Lens is to translate some of the more famous Einstein quotes into layman's terms. His words were not so intellectually grandiose that you could not understand what he was saying, by no means. However, the attempt here is to honor his phenomenal mind by placing my words below his to create what hopefully will be an astutely memorable composition, one that the reader will return to often.

"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds."
One of my favorite Einstein quotes, "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence." The majority of the population falls under "mediocre minds" primarily because very few people speak or think for themselves. We live in a society of brainwashed people. At the forefront of ancestral and historical mind control is religion, and politics. Any individual who dare step outside of the established norms will encounter various forms of opposition from almost every imaginable angle. You are viewed as a heretic, unpatriotic, atheist, trouble-maker, anti-semetic, and more.
"Thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices," is this not what the masses are doing?
"Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools."
It takes a fool to argue with a fool. A fool is one who is "deficient in judgment, sense, or understanding." A fool is illogical and rarely, if ever, thinks clearly. Why would a logical person, with good common sense, waste her time bickering with a fool. When you're angry, rational thoughts leave you. Sound, analytical thinking goes by the wayside. Anger can take you to a place that you really don't want to go and can put you in a very uncompromising predicament. In hindsight, enraged dialogue always leaves the logical person who slipped, thinking, "why in the world did I say that?" Of course, by then you've already made your bed, it's now time to lie in it.
Anger does not hurt or harm its intended recipient; it never does. Anger acts like an emotional, spiritual, and physical boomerang. It will come back and wreak havoc from whence it came.
"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex."
"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction."This statement could be applicable to the American President. It really doesn't matter who he is, or was, with possibly the exception of John F. Kennedy (see attached video when JFK took on the Illuminati).
Our US Presidents fall under the banner of "intelligent fools." They're educated, erudite, sophisticated (with the exception of G. W. Bush), but pretend to not have a clue to what is really going on. They promote war, because of its tremendous earning power, and that's the only reason its done. Wars are manufactured now, as they were 200 years ago. Typically, both sides of a war are financed by the same people. It's tantamount to a boxing promoter who has financial rights to both fighters. There is no way he can lose regardless of who wins the fight, he comes out a winner because the promoter has backed both fighters.
Therefore, as Einstein stated, our "intelligent fools" (and it doesn't stop at our politicians; bishops, ministers, educators, can also be in this category) have created almost insurmountable problems for its citizens. The "touch of genius," the courageous ones, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, brother Bobby, Dr. King (and a few others) were assassinated primarily because of their ability to "move in the opposite direction."
"Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school."
We're educated in grade school, middle school, high school, college, and maybe graduate school. You get as much "book-learning" as you can, you go out in life and carry yourself usually by what you have been taught; what you've learned. This is "education" in a sense, but it's not the type of education needed to navigate successfully through life. Acquired knowledge from an institution of higher learning can buy you lots of material possessions, but it cannot purchase spiritual growth.
Most of what we were taught in school is forgotten. That's made crystal clear the first time we attempt to help our 7th/8th grade kids with their homework. And what happens if we persist in trying to help them? Most of our answers are incorrect.
The unfortunate part about the many years we spend in school, most of what we learn is really not applicable in the real world. That's why the legendary Einstein made the statement, "Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school."
The expansion of the soul is all that remains as the physical and financial begin to erode. That is why its extremely important to develop the immortal part of our being - the spirit.
"Everyone should be respected as an individual, but no one idolized."
This Einstein quote speaks for itself. It is very applicable to those millions of kids who idolize athletes. Athletes are not role models and not to be idolized. A role model is someone that you have access to, someone you can talk to, and someone who you know on a personal level. A role model cannot and should not be someone you see on television.
Every individual should be respected regardless of their net worth, or lack thereof. it doesn't matter what type of position they hold or do not hold. We're all branches of the same tree and should respect one another in that regard but no man/woman should be idolized or placed upon a pedestal.

"Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding."
America's "Peacekeeping Forces" is one of the most humorous oxymoron's ever stated. If you don't know, the definition of Peacekeeping: an activity that aims to create the conditions for lasting peace. Anything that contributes to the furthering of a peace process, once established. Sure, and Rudolph and his red nose are real.
Create a war for profit and then send in the Peacekeeping Forces. What a joke! America or any other Super Power, has never tried to create peace through understanding. The big bullies of our world do what they want, how they want, and when they want; with money, power, and greed being the motivating factors.
To paraphrase a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King:
If nations succumb to the temptation of using violence in the struggle for peace, unborn generations will be the recipients of a long and desolate life of bitterness, and the chief legacy to the future will be an endless reign of meaningless chaos. There is a voice crying into the vista of time saying to every potential Peter to put up thy sword. History is replete with the bleached bones of nations and communities that failed to follow this command.

"A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary."
"A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death."
Unfortunately humankind is indeed in a poor way because she is restrained by fear of punishment (Hell) and hope of reward after death (Heaven). Humankind has no ethical behavior to speak of because the world is controlled by a force bent on misleading and duping the masses for financial and political control.
This is no longer a conspiracy theory but a fact. View the facts surrounding 9/11 and you will clearly see that it was an inside job. See "Illuminati"
View the facts and history behind religion and you will clearly see you've been hoodwinked. See "Duped"

"Now he has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me."
"Now he has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me. That means nothing. People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion."
This quote, among many others, shows the spiritual depth of Albert Einstein. Here's a quote that is not easily understood especially for those enmeshed into the religious matrix.
"Now he has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me. That means nothing." The time of transition from this life, from this illusion is irrelevant in the grand scheme. If you understand physics (the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy) then you realize that past, present, and future are only elements and characteristics of this, our physical life. A better way to understand this concept is when you dream. There is no concept of time in a dream. The dream state is the closest we come to the actual reality of our immortality. It's the closest we come to comprehending our being made in the "image of God;" a spiritual image based solely on Spirit and Energy. Energy always is, has been, and will be; moves into form, through form, and out of form. Everyone that reads this Lens is presently Energy, "In Form." When we transition, we move out of form and back to our true reality as Spiritual Beings.
This life that we live is a dream created by our own minds and what was done or not done in a previous physical incarnation. It's either a good dream, a weird dream, or a nightmare (usually it will be a combination of all three). The beauty of it is this, just like you awake from an unpleasant dream and you're relieved; that will be the case when you make your transition from this dimension to the next.

"He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt."
War
"He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."This quote will certainly rub myriad people the wrong way. Many have lost sons, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles in war; fighting for a so called "noble cause;" "to protect our borders;" for "patriotism;" whatever the reason, that does not make it right. "Protecting our borders?" We actually need protection from the American government but we're not getting it. Why? Because we're so mislead by false propaganda that we cannot see the forest for the trees.
War is wrong. It has never been and will never be the answer because all it does is create more war. War is the biggest money making machine in the history of mankind, so why would the powers that be want to stop it. There's absolutely no reason we should still have troops in Iraq, troops in Afghanistan. The only reason we went there in the first place and are still there 10 years later - 10 YEARS LATER - is to control that oil-rich region of the world.
As the cliché goes, if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything and as a nation that is what we have collectively done.
