awesome music btw , awesome thinker, I'm just reading Hawkings Universe In A Nutshell totally mind bending and all from the ideas of Einstein and his colleagues.

He was such a larger-than-life fellow - I find his quotes so apt for so many situations. He has to be one of the best role models.

What a character! Well done Margo!

Was always rather perplexed by the famous "Imagination is more important than knowledge" quote, especially if you go look at the Ricci/Levi-Civita mathematics Einstein used for General Relativity, which is some pretty fierce stuff. It ain't like Albert came up with all this by just staring out the window. :-p

    Love Einstein quotes, always did.

Very enjoyable lens. I read physics at university, so I of course studied the work for which he is famous in depth, but, as you have described so well, there was a lot more to him than just the physics.

Love that title - genius in sandals! But, oh dear, poor Elsa - she had the patience of a saint

Very enjoyable reading, unique take on Einstein. What can I say - I'm impressed!

    5* and a FAV :)

I know nothing about Twitter or Facebook, sorry :)

I wasn't sure what to expect from this lens, and I was so pleasantly surprised! Everybody loves Einstein and so much has been written. I've seen websites with quotes. I've seen books done on his life and read some of his work. you have made a wonderful lens about Einstein the person! What a great beginning shot. Where is that statue located?

You have a picture where there are a pair of dice, do you know the quote which inspired that image? "God does not play dice with the universe"

Love it! 5* a FAV, a tweet and a Facebook.

    You're the best!

    Julie

I love the quirky, eccentric qualities of Einstein, as well as the pure genius. Thank you for building an informative and entertaining page on him. Brilliantly done, and loaded with quality content!

Nice lens. 5* from me! Thanks. Really informative. Nicely detailed.

Super 5* lens. As for his 'reality is merely an illusion' how right that is. All there is is how we realise life and things to be. A brilliant man but perhaps not right on everything.
    Mike.

I had a picture taken with me sitting in his lap, but couldn't find it for the lens. Maybe I need to get another one! Thanks

Hi Margo, that statute at the top of your lens is in Washington, DC, where I went to college and law school. Einstein was a mathematician, but he was also a mystic, and that's why he was so brilliant. I love this lens.

Thanks for showing us Einstein the person. Yes, Einstein was a great scientist, but he had so many other things to say to us all: on world peace, on religion, on music, on creativity, on life. 5 stars!

5*s and a hearty SquidAngel Blessing for your, yes - very entertaining lens! Einstein was one of the greatest "prophets" of modern times. His wisdom was/is timeless and will be understood even better in the future.
